I love Pure Encapsulations supplements due to the fact that no fillers are used in the capsules. It's only the supplement/vitamin that's specified. Additionally, I like that this more bio-compatible form of calcium comes from bovine sources and is certified gluten free. The capsules are a medium size and easy to swallow. A good, all-around, way to get more calcium.

Love that this is product is a gel capsule! Been turned off for years to taking calcium because of the gigantic, hard tablet form they came in. I like the idea that I take 1 of these pills twice a day to get my full 500mg. No problem with reflux from this product like I use to get from taking the gigantic, calcium tablets. I think the combination of gel capsule form and fact that dose in each capsule being smaller may be the reasons why.

This is calcium and phosphorous, and other minerals, in the form of ground, bovine bone--which has more or less the same nutrional qualaties as our own bone, so it makes sensethat it would be the best supplement for supporting our own bones.Whereas other calcium supplements, especially those with considerable amounts of calcium carbonate, have proventoxic for me: this supplement feel quite healthy--and I believe that it provides other benefits aside from just providingextra minerals.From what I can tell, looking at the chemical analysis of bone, it contains phosporous in its alkaline form,as well as lots of stable oxgen--so it may provide some benefits towards alkalinity.Needless to say, its always best to get your nutrients in their more natural form--and what is more natural than bone.

I love these! I am lactose intolerant and have stomach issues from calcium carbonate or citrate. So thankful to find an alternative that doesn’t bother my stomach! No bloating or stomach cramps. These have stopped my nighttime leg cramping and seem to be good for my teeth as well. Couldn’t be happier! I take one in am and one in pm. I love not having to take 2-3 at a time like other types of calcium pills.
