Feel good in hand. Sturdy.

Pretty good
I bought this as a replacement for an assisted opening Gerber knife. Well, not as great as that one. It’s still pretty good after you work it for a while. I like the fact that it’s plenty sharp though.

Great product
My husband loves this knife. Really like the serrated part of the blade for cutting rope.

Good knife for the price point
Looks great, good knife for the price point. Sharp and capable for EDC. Initially it was difficult to open with just one hand as it was very stiff and thumb stud felt uncomfortable. After using for a few days it did become much easier to open with one hand, although I still need to close using both hands

Nice but not if you don’t have the hand strength
It’s a very nice knife but if you don’t have the hand strength to close it you’re going to hurt yourself. You have to push a petal piece, located under the blade, to the side to close the blade - the only problem is that it’s hard to move and you have to push it to the side and push the blade down at the same time to close it and it’s not safe if you don’t have the hand strength to do it.It’s a very nice knife though and cuts through things super easy

Too tight.
I can see why it's on sale. Very very stiff opening. And closing is even worse. Not enough cut-out on the opposite scale to get your thumb to push the frame easily. You almost need to put a coin in between the scales to nudge it over.I'll use a torx bit to try and loosen up the opening, but nothing can be done to ease the closing. I'll probably gift it to someone who isn't a knife guy.

Awesome blade, for price
Ultimate semi- budget knife. Had had dozens, if not more, of Tek-Force knives, and nothing wrong with them if you come to terms with what they are. Budgett, semi- poorly made knives, no bother if lost, plastic handles, workable, but mayLast 4 days in a true survival situation. This Gerber you can count on for years, and no shame pulling it out at a true knife afficionados gathering. I plan on upgrading soon. Awesome blade, for price,, but now that I've seen quality, I'm going for an $80 to 100 dollar masterpiece. Normally I give my spares to the scouts or similar groups, but this one I will dang hold on to.. Only problem is a bit hard to open one handed, but was told by the experts not to oil or loosen, It'll work itself out.. Any thoughts? Otherwise best knife I've purchased on Amazon, or any folder anywhere for that matter. 2 thumbs up and it is only mid-level. Can't imagine a true high quality Gerber. I'll find out soon. Thanks for great product at reasonable price. Again. 2 thumbs up
