The Finale Primer -- 2014 Edition: Mastering the Art of Music Notation with Finale

Finale can be hard. Answers are available on line. Old school types like me enjoy having a book. It's all here exc the newest things, but Finale is still remarkably complex for anyone who does not use it all the time.

This book is more appropriate for elementary users than experienced ones. It includes exercises and is classroom friendly. However, for an intermediate/advanced user it's a little too basic; Mark Johnson's Finale 2014 is probably a more appropriate choice. Finale's more advanced features such as the integrated Aria player, Garritan instruments or 3rd party samplers, adding audio tracks, mp4 video, etc., are pretty much glossed over.

Having this book on my iPad as I bumble my way through Finale really helps!! I donʻt use Finale often enough to work it like a pro, and the online manual is unwieldy to search from inside the program.

ottimo libro per avere un manuale di base, le super questioni del programma però non vengono trattate!!! quindi può essere un ottimo manuale per chi inizia o per chi utilizzandolo spesso ha a volte necessità di ricordare qualche opzione di base che con programmi così estesi come questo è facile dimenticare!!
