Q: Has anyone had trouble with the plastic buckle under the arm pit rubbing the dog's skin raw?

Yes, and also rubbing across the chest. My dog has a very wide chest. I had no problems with my other dog. It works great otherwise.

Q: Does this restrict their movement, or is the front strap high enough not to interfere with their front legs?

I have not noticed any interference with the front legs of my English Setter. She wears a medium and it clips to her collar, keeping the front black piece up relatively high. That part is adjustable, too, so it can be loosened or tightened.

Q: Does it comes with leash?

It does not come with the leash. To use it as it is depicted you need to purchase a leash that has the clasps on both ends.

Q: Can this be used to buckle the dog in the car? Id like not to have to change harnesses when we arrive ar a trail.

This harness did not work well for buckling my mastiff into the car because she was able to crawl/wiggle out of the front of it. However, it does work perfectly for teaching her loose leash walking, which is the purpose for which I purchased it, so I'm very happy with it! Hope you find what you need! Best Wishes!
