Researched a month
This hammock is the best! These are the reasons why. 1. It is very roomy which was important. I am small of build but wanted a lot of room for one person so I could read, etc. 2. I like the white net because I plan to be reading in it in the day, at night the white night doesn't matter that the light shins in. 3. Love, love the straps with the individual choices for adjustment on the hammock. 4. Love the seam is not in the center of my back but on the sides. 5. Zippers are a little above normal but adequate and sufficient. 6. Love the 2 pockets for storage. 7. Yes it does fit back in the bag; however, the straps do not (full disclosure but then they came in the package not in the bag so they are not intended to put in the bag. The guy lines were in the bag. 8. The straps are easily identifiable on the ground with the orange strip. 9. The net stays are well sewn. 10. The hammock seams are well sewn. 11. The hammock is long which is good ample room. 12. The guy lines are my complaint they are too short. 13. The guy lines are also easily identifiable on the ground with a white obnoxious looking like a snake but you won't leave them behind! 14. This hammock was everything I had hoped for. 15. I needed a bug net and this really was the best choice 16. I have not used the rain tarp yet. Highly highly recommend this product. I never do product reviews but this one was so over-the-top with expectations that I had to give a 2 thumbs up!

Very well constructed and comes with everything you need to set it up.
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and I thought he wouldn't use it until at least spring however we live in Texas and it seems we are not getting a winter this year. He put it up just a few days after Christmas in 72 degree Temps. Perfect for a hammock.it is very light weight so perfect for back packing where weight is a concern. It is very well constructed. It is triple stitched at the seems and it comes with everything u need to put it up. The material feels pretty thick and very sturdy not to mention softer than other hammocks he has had. It is very large in size and would definitely hold 2 people in comfort. It has 2 pouches on permantly attached that the hammock and netting are stored in. The netting is attached to the hammock so no worries with bugs getting inside other than when u crawl in through the opening.it comes with the stakes and rope for the included rain fly tarp which is cut to fit over the entire hammock. There is even more rope for the netting to hold it up above the hammock giving u plenty of room inside. The straps for hanging the hammock are really well built with triple stitching at all connection points and comes with d rings that lock so u don't have to worry about it opening up at any point. My husband has commented that he wouldn't need a tent any more when going camping he would just take this hammock in its place. He has already shown it to a few of his friends whom have also purchased one for themselves so he would recommend it to others. All in all I think it was a great buy for the price and constructed well. Hope this helps other to make a more informed decision about this item.

Great base, but needs several tweaks
The good: The base hammock is super comfortable and manages to run a nice balance between a thicker, heavier material and ultra-light materials, and the heavier material honestly has a better feel than many of the ultralight hammocks I've tried. The zippers are decent, the pocket along the side is great for a few essentials like a cellphone or flashlight, though I wouldn't put a ton of weight in it. The daisy chains and carabiners are heavy duty and make setting up quick and easy, and the tarp is a great size, and unlike many other hammock set ups I never felt like I didn't have enough material to keep the rest of the rig out of the elements. An especially welcome touch on the tarp are the tiedown points halfway down each side, which allowed me on a couple of occasions to tie downfrom the middle points and fold the loose corner under a backpack or rock and give myself a wall to block wind or rain. I also appreciate that the hammock and tarp come in separate bags, as it makes packing easier than one large unit, and it's convenient to leave the rain fly components home if the weather is good. The bad: There are some oversights here, many of which can be remedied and some that can't. If you're planning on backpacking with this setup, the carabiners and the daisy chains need to go immediately. They're easily the heaviest components in the kit, fortunately they're also easy and relatively cheap to replace. I keep the daisy chains for convenient car-camping or yard use and have a set of ultra light straps from Hummingbird when hiking. The carabiners included are steel, and honestly needed to go regardless of weight. The pins on the gates are rough and unfinished and frequently caught on the mosquito netting and made me concerned they would tear. Grab a pair of lightweight climbing carabiners if you're worried about weight, or a pair of screwgate links at the hardware store if you aren't. The biggest cause for concern, like many people have said, is the bug net. The bug net loops are definitely light-duty. The other problem is that, if run on a single line, the bug net pulls awkwardly closed and feels very claustrophobic. You really need to run a line on either side of the tree to spread it out some, or rig a sort of spreader bar between the loops to help out.All in all, It's an awesome rig for the price, especially for a first time hammock camper. It's got several easy upgrades you can make over time if you decide it's worth it, and honestly I like the rainfly design and size so much, I'll probably continue using that even if I decide to upgrade the hammock itself in the future. Absolutely solid buy.
