Great top notch set of stones to compliment the wicked edge system. Will be back for another set in the future.

WICKED EDGE sharpener pays itself. Don't waste your time with "PLASTIC KNIFE SHARPENER" with vague / variable blade angle flexes during sharping, if devalue / ruin and shorten the knife blade life.

I wish wicked edge would quit changing models. The stones for wicked edge are pricey but after 55 years of trying to find the best knife sharpener, I'm 95% there. The glass platen is an art to use but you will razor sharp from them. Once one learns that a consistent knife bevel/ angle is the key, results are repeatable. I leave my setting on 20 degree angle for everything. That way, an exact repeatable edge can be done in minutes. Touch ups in minutes.

I recently bought the wicked edge gen 3, and was in need of these stones. It felt a bit much to pay 100$ for stones but this pair stands to be a nice compliment in my process to a mirror edge. Like all the wicked edge items, these are a hefty premium quality product. If these are anything like the other ceramic stones they will last a long time, I gave it four stars however because the glass platens on the back are slightly jagged as if cut by a water saw. This is not bad by any means, I just expect a pair of stones I pay 100$ for are dang near perfect. I use the glass sides for micron lapping film and it does the trick just fine.Ps. These stones (like all wicked edge stones) will take a few knives to be broken in, at which point you will see the best results.

I have several sets of wicked edge sharpening stones. However when this set arrived one of the stones is tight fitting on the arms and I have to use more force to get it to pass over the blade. Throws off my rhythm
