Problem Solved - Sliding Glass Office Chair Mats on Carpet
Problem Solved - My glass desk chair/carpet protectors slid all over the place. 5/8 for thicker carpet. I tried sticky carpet tape. Did not work, until I used this product. I needed two glass mats, yes, I should have bought a bigger single mat, however, I didn't. I secured the SoftTouch carpet protectors on each corner, set them in place, and they have not moved in days. One pack gets you 8-squares. Money well spent. It would be great if the company could make the adhesive part clear (see picture), but I suspect they will be seeing a emerging need for their product here and, so we will see.

Works! but...
They work great, but I agree with others that the adhesive needs to be clear. The edges/corners are also very sharp. If they are sticking out at all from beneath the leg of the furniture, they will definitely cut your toe.

Great of chair mat so it will not slide
Love these, just wish they had clear tape instead of white. I used on the glass floor mat I purchased for my desk chair and now I see white squares instead of clear. I'll be replacing white sticky tape with clear double stick tape.

Great for thick carpet
I use this on the bottom of foot pedals that I use for my racing simulator. Keeps the pedals from sliding. Literally no sliding at all. Great purchase.

3/4” not 5/8”; does NOT hold chair mat in place
I bought clear double-sided tape as another review mentioned the adhesive tape doesn’t hold well and is unsightly on a clear mat like I have. The tape I bought holds great and was cheaper than the Gorilla brand. As for the product itself, these squares were easy to break apart and apply to my polycarbonate desk chair mat. Overall, they work far better than velcro or tape on the bottom of the mat, but my mat still moves.I have deep pile carpet so I bought the 5/8” size, which should have been perfect according to my paper clip measurement (my pile is exactly 5/8” deep); however, the spikes themselves (not including the platform part) were 3/4” tall and were far too tall in my deep pile carpet. They held up my chair protector everywhere they were and it sagged between them. In addition, the mat still moved. So, I ground the spikes down to 5/8” and tried again. It now works better than before, but my mat still migrates at least 3” both ways every day.I am going to have to drill holes in my mat and tie it between my desk legs to try to assist the spikes in holding it in place.

Easy to put on and keeps glass mat in place
I used all 8 squares to hold down the 4x3 ft glass mat that I'm using. It was very easy to peel away the backing and then affix the square to the glass mat. Since putting it on, the glass mat has stayed in place and has not moved an inch on the carpet. Seems like it will last a long time and it does what it was intended to do.

Only for light weight furniture
These might work well for lighter furniture but after a few weeks under a bed and chest of drawers several fractured apart or the spikes broke free. The self stick was not adequate to keep the chest of drawers stuck to the bottom of the feet. The opening and closing of the drawers caused the legs to work thru the stickum and allowed the heavier furniture to fall off

Inaccurate labeling of a fine product
The product is fine. However, the packaging has erroneous information, stating that the 3/8 product is for thicker carpets. As the website states, thicker carpets should use the 5/8 length. Buyers should not be confused by the inaccurate info on the package.
