I bought this is Dec 2022 and it is still going strong in Feb 2026. More recent reviews cite problems with the ring hinge loosening or breaking, but I haven't experienced this. Hopefully the company hasn't cheapened the product because I need to purchase another one for a new phone. Pros: strong magnet, strong ring hinge, adhesion has remained solid for 3 years, love the ability to rotate the ring and prop my phone different ways Cons: adds significant weight to the phone, black coloring has started to rub off a little after 3 years

I've bought these at least four or five times over the years, I love them. The adhesive is really strong, and I especially love that I can fit two fingers in the ring, which helps me keep my phone stable as I scroll or type. The only times I've had to replace them were when I was switching cases, or when they came off a silicone case (more on that below) because the adhesive can't be reused more than maybe once. Sadly, these do not stick very well to silicone, although probably still better than anything else on the market. They stay put for a couple of months but eventually come off. After a couple rounds of this happening, I decided to glue the ring to the case using sil-poxy. On the plus side, that's never coming off; on the minus side, that's never coming off 😂 I've never had one of these break, and I wear the absolute heck out of them. However, my latest one did become a bit loose and wobbly over time. Rather than play chicken with a $1000 phone, I decided to go ahead and replace it. Unfortunately, since I permanently attached it to the silicone case, I had to replace the case as well 😂 But seriously, love them, can't live without them. Have tried other ring holders and they all just suck in comparison!

I have used one of these on my phone for a couple of years. Still works great. Has good friction when moving around and after all that use, it still stays put in whatever position I put it in. I'll take away one star only because the finish on the disc inside the ring will wear down to bare metal fairly quick. Wife lost her phone with one on the case and I replaced it with the same. One drawback when putting on a phone case is the phone with case may no longer fit in some holders due to extra thickness on the case back although the ring is not very thick. I also love that I can use a magnet holder which will hold my phone upright in my vehicle while driving. Great product. Highly recommend.

***UPDATED REVIEW: I decided to email the company about my order & they responded very quickly by replacing my defective product. I’m really impressed because customer service can make or break a company. They asked me to email a picture of my defective product, along with some other identifying information, so I did. The response was very apologetic & sincere, letting me know they will ship out a replacement for me. I was quite surprised when it showed up at my door just a few days later! I was also surprised it was a brand new package, unopened & it’s the same rose gold color I had before. I honestly cannot fault this company on just one “bad egg” in the bunch. It’s all about the follow-up & I’m very pleased at the end result. Plus they give you a warranty that ensures your product after purchase, so you’ve got nothing to lose & I will stick with Syncwire for future purchases down the line because they did what some companies just don’t do. Offer a great product with a decent warranty, take full responsibility in the case of something going wrong with your purchase (like in my recent situation) & provide outstanding customer service, too. Original Review: I've had this product (rose gold color) since March 3rd (today is March 31, 2021) & truly loved how the adhesion is sturdy (plus there are replacement adhesion pads that comes with it. This product is very easy to install & I am able to remove it & reposition it on the back of my phone without any issues. Unfortunately, just today the ring holder became loose & I've done nothing shirt of take the best care of it (no dropping or spilling liquids on it, etc). I thought this was not supposed to happen, if it is great quality as I've read while researching the product. I'm just a bit disappointed, that this amazing product was useful for exactly 28 days & know I'll need to find a replacement. I've bought cheap $5-7 ring holders for my smartphone & they all lasted for at least 3-4 months. So why spend more money on a product that looses its value in less than 1 month?

My wife and I both have these on the backs of our phone cases. They are great to help keep a good grip on the device, prop it up to watch videos, or hang it on a hook. They are the thinnest (depth-wise) rings that we could find that still work well. The double-sided tape they use on these is pretty good, as long as you clean the surface well before sticking. My wife had an Otterbox with a flexible outer shell and over time the tape would no longer stick to the outer shell, so I would superglue it on when that happened. On my hard-backed Spigen case, I never had an issue. She has a hard case Otterbox now and it works great. Over time, the ring will get loose on how it spins and not stay open or in place as well, so we keep extras on hand to replace them when needed. They last quite a while though. Mine lasts a lot longer than my wife's does but she uses hers a lot more too and is not as gentle with it as I am. One other nice thing is that these are metal so they work with magnetic mounts. The biggest drawback is that you can't use wireless charging with these on the back of your device. They are too thick. We have tried a lot of different brands and types of these rings and these work the best for our needs.

De plus les rotations fonctionnent toujours, dans tous les angles, et ne faiblissent pas à soutenir mon GALAXY NOTE (pourtant grand et gros téléphone) quand je regarde une vidéo. BRAVO TRÈS BELLE QUALITÉ , et d'autant plus que d'autres anneaux achetés depuis pour mon téléphone PRO ont eux montré des signes de faiblesse ! => Alors pourquoi... et qu'est-ce qui m'a fait acheter autre chose me direz-vous ? ? Simplement car je ne suis pas FAN des gros logos et des marques..., et c'est donc le seul HIC de ces anneaux... il y a un GROS LOGO << S >> sur le rond central. Plus discret et plus élégant et c'était un 5 étoiles partout !

Syncwire phone rings are superb! I was introduced to phone rings when I got one free with a repro snes controller (see photo). Looking back now, it was chunky, with a metal ring attached to a plastic base. I was not sure I would keep it at first given it's thickness but I ended loving it's usefulness. However, after 6 or so months the ring became loose so was useless for propping my phone. So I looked around online and came across these. They are worth every penny and so thin I don't feel it in my pocket! You can tell it's built well and will last. I did read complaints about the adhesive but I have found it to be excellent. Make sure you apply firm pressure for a bit (best to attach to a phone case before adding you phone) and give it time to stick well. Check the surface is clean too before applying of course. You get extra stickers too but I didn't need them. I can't be happier with it and such a step up from my fat freebie bless it haha

MATERIALI E REALIZZAZIONE Gli adesivi sono della 3M (fra i migliori collanti sul mercato). L’anello è realizzato principalmente in lega di zinco nella parte circolare centrale adesiva e acciaio inossidabile nella parte dell’anello. La rotazione massima consentita è di 360° e oltre ruotando continuativamente (per intenderci, come un fidget spinner). L’angolazione massima dell’anello invece è di 180° ovvero, è possibile stenderlo completamente. Le dimensioni sono di 35.8 x 4.4 per un peso di 18.75 g. ESPERIENZA D’USO Avevo comprato un anello per smartphone e mi ero trovato molto bene, tuttavia la struttura centrale era in plastica e quando mi si è rotta e staccata dal resto della struttura dell’anello, non si teneva più impedendomi così di sostenere lo smartphone con una mano sola tramite proprio l’anello. Ho quindi preso questo prodotto per via dei materiali, non volevo che si rompesse nuovamente: effettivamente zinco e metallo fanno decisamente la differenza, si sente anche al tatto la differenza netta con il vecchio anello che avevo, anche per via della differenza di peso (apprezzo sia un po’ più pesante). La pezzetta per la pulizia rimuove sporcizia accumulata sul retro dello smartphone poggiandolo o impugnandolo permettendo così di incollare l’anello senza che si possa scollare. L’anello è veramente solido e la “cerniera”, se così si può chiamare è abbastanza rigida da permettermi di usare l’anello anche come stand sulla scrivania per tenere lo smartphone landscape/orizzontale e persino in portrait/verticale (dipende ovviamente da dove lo posizionate). La presenza del magnete nella parte rotonda centrale è comodissima per poter agganciare lo smartphone ai supporti magnetici della macchina o anche ad altre superfici metalliche. Veramente comodo! CONCLUSIONI Fra quelli che ho avuto è decisamente il migliore: in metallo difficilmente si potrà rompere, o sicuramente non in breve tempo e la verniciatura non potrà andarsene. Anello solido, pesante e compatto. Cerniera resistente e piena libertà di movimento. Lo ricomprerò se mi si dovesse rompere, possibilità alquanto remota.
