Metal construction with a good feel to it. The color screen is clear and the switches are easy to operate. Excellent sound quality as well. I was a little confused with the instructions at first. When you turn it on it shows your music folder and I thought you had to select the recording folder to start recording. That's not the case. All you need to do is slide the switch to on, then slide the switch to record. You only need to be concerned about which folder is open if you want to play recordings. The only downside I have is there is a couple of seconds delay for the noise reduction to start working before it will record. I have only used mine for personal notes so that hasn't been a big deal. Great little recorder

Not very intuitive and instructions are not comprehensive. Cannot fast forward or fast backup. Not able to discover how to delete either.

Terrible sound quality. Awful controls.

If the switches worked good, I would have given this product a high mark. It has really good sound quality for its size.It is easy to use, and I suppose the battery life is good, haven't had it that long.However, the switches to turn the device on and off, and switch function, are terrible. Sometime have to turn it on and off, several times for it to actually turn on. And it isn't just the on/off switch either. The other switches all have the same problem, too, with hit and miss, whether they will work or not. Really strange, since the switches all seem to slide good, and are tight. The device seems to be constructed well, but has faulty switches, just like some Chinese lasers I bought some months ago. Guess, you really do get what you pay for, it is cheap, so I got a cheap product.

I Ilike the easy way to record.

I wish I had bought 2 or 3 of these. They are made solid and do not look like voice recorders. Perfect for having it in plain sight and recording. The recording is super clear and it also picks up sound from a distance, like if someone says something in the background you can hear them clearly. I've paid far more for other recorders but none of them matches this one. It has builtin 8GB memory (I wish it could accept a micro-sd card but that's ok).

Don't be fooled by it's small appearance. This is the all time greatest recorder.It has the best sound quality that I have heard and it picks up voice with the most audible noise and sound I have heard so it makes the lectures that I recordEasy to understand when I go through and listen to them.

I LOVE this! I was very surprised at how nice it is. Crystal clear sound and you can listen to the recordings with or without headphones which I really like, it’s also sturdy, not cheap material like some of the others. I highly recommend this product. This would be a great EVP recorder ;)
