Nice addition to soups and stews, great for camping
Great to have on hand, especially since they keep well & are ebt acceptable online. We do a lot of camping and I wanted these to add to meals with less weight or risk of going bad. I also like keeping produce on hand but sometimes we dont use it up in time, so having the dried veggies is a life saver when life gets busy. Good way to finish up a lacking meal. Extra vitamins added to our meals plus makes my soups and stews more appealing to consume! Love a quick meal that has added nutrition that everyone devours!

I find these tasty, holding flavors well
Really a simple product. 2 lbs, easy to just add a tablespoon to many things - ramen, soup, rice . . . I may even snack on a few uncooked veggie crunchies ( gotta call it something ).

Great to have on hand
I have used other products from this company and since this was on sale I HAD to buy it. The freeze dried veggies are great for us because there are veggies that go bad before we use them and having this product means I am not buying veggies and throwing them. They work great in making stews and soups!

You can't go wrong with this brand. I love that I know that no matter what I buy from them that it will be a quality product and packaged for longevity. Having a well prepared pantry is important to me and this is my go-to brand at a reasonable price.I love that I can buy this in bulk and leave it knowing that it is packaged to last.Yes, this is easy to use. You won't have to do any kitchen magic to make this a useable product. Just follow the directions on the can and you are off.You get a lot of product for the price. Don't let the weight of the can fool you.I like that this is not a chemical nightmare.I try to have item on hand for in the event of an emergency. I look for items that are packaged well, travel well, don't require a lot of additional ingredients, are flexible for how they are used, and will act as comfort food. This fits the bill.I love that there are as many ways to use this product as you can dream up. It is a good way to make make a meal out of this and that.

No cooking instructions which is weird but otherwise great
Good - Nice mix, reasonable taste for what it is. You should add some seasoning if you can, but its just plain on its own so its still perfectly edible. Its worth noting that you don't actually have to fully cook it as the vegetables become tender enough with only a couple minutes in hot water (though if you do it that way it won't fully expand; if you want it as proper vegetable soup cook for the full time). Seal was good, didn't test the durability of the can as I got it as a pantry staple rather than a prepper food but I can't imagine it would have any issues if you just set it on a shelf and left it alone.Neutral - I've seen various complaints online that indicates the mix was focused; I'm fine with what I got, but I think they adjusted the ratios over time. And since it doesn't tell the exact ratio you can't really know exactly what you're getting. Understandable that they adjusted the ratio over time, but I do think an approximate disclosure would be nice.Bad - For some reason the actual instructions were removed but I was able to find some online; 1/4th cup of mix to 1 cup of water, bring to a slight boil, simmer for 10 minutes.Overall - Product 5/5 for the price; you'll probably need to pay a lot to get something better and if you're buying a large can of dehydrated vegetable medley you're probably not into that. 1 star off for not having even a basic ratio of mix to water listed.

Get your veggies! good assortment of ingredients, decent amount of calories for sale price,
Weight is as expected. You do know that they use #10 cans as so most emergency suppliers. That means, NUMBER ten, not ten pound. The size is because it allows for continuity in storage, and allows for various volume amounts that also satisfy the weighted amounts (products are sold based on WEIGHT not volume, which means you can have a canister that appears half full, but it has the weight that is being sold). The #10 canisters are also reusable for other needs, and when still fully sealed will float and will take a lot of abuse all while maintaining integrity of the contents. I have not experienced these situations, but that is the idea across all emergency food. Next size up tends to be pails, then buckets, then simply multiples. Be smart.I buy "emergency food" when it is on sale. That's it. The whole point of prepping is to accumulate well before it is needed. I buy regular food and store it well, and only then do I add in "emergency" food. It is great that it is available, but it is fantastically expensive. Even if you dont do any real food preserving, so long as it is away from light and rats, it all will be fine for a long long time. But added assurance is with emergency branded food, and it takes the knowledge and work out of it. But even then, pay attention to prices and buy when the prices dip low. You can amass more food for your buck that way. If and only if you are in a bind (you were late to the prepping game), then yes by all means get what you can. This vegetable stew is not something I plan to open any time soon (I dont think). I buy similar dried vegetable assortments and soup blends for a fraction of a price, and just double bag it before I toss it in a dark cupboard, or with more motivation/ambition I could repackage in mylar or an air tight container. They are all the same, more or less. Difference is with the types of vegetables. I like having different brands for this reason. I use it for quick soups (just need enough hot water to rehydrate), for crock pot meals for simply adding vegetables anytime to anything whether I have fresh on hand or not. Since I was able to get this on sale at nearly same price as my non-emergency veg soup/stew products, I decided to pick up a couple of canisters to tuck away. I took a look at the ingredients and liked the assortment of vegetables (inc potato). The calories being purchased looked good too.My canisters look good, no dents. I would not have been too concerned with mild dents anyway.
