4 D Cell batteries. Each D Cell is 1.5V. 4 X 1.5 = 6V. It's incredibly unlikely that the device uses any voltage other than 6V, thus it's OK to assume that 6V is the output voltage... Don't know the amp draw, probably 1 to 2 amps max?

13 gallon tall kitchen bags are too short. I have tried Glad and Hefty because of the mil weight. This is a pretty new purchase and hubby didn’t understand there was a collar, so when he did me a favor to empty garbage, he unknowingly threw the collars away. So now what???
