Screen Protector Compatible with Pebble Steel Smartwatch (3-Pack) Clear HD Shield Anti-Bubble and Anti-Fingerprint PET Film

I went without this on my pebble steel for a year now, but I once made contact with the edge of a picture frame and it left a tiny gash right where the "p" is in the pebble logo. That pebble fricasseed and was warranty replaced, and I decided not to risk it this time and got this. I chose this over the Zagg because there were lots of complaints that the Zagg went over the bezel.Installed, the item is crystal clear and basically invisible, just slightly small than the entire glass and just fits within the bezel. Aligning on one corner will basically see the rest aligned too.Quick install, simple once you see the video on the website.Because I installed it in the shower with the steam, I had the misfortune of getting lint trapped underneath, but it didn't bubble around it and just looks like stray lint.The material feels like it's just enough to absorb the impact that would cause a gash in gorilla so I'm happy.It wasn't a 5 because I had to fight the pull tabs a little bit and almost touched the sticky part a few times, which would have rendered it a dud with fingerprints all over.

This product is OK, but not great. I found it fairly easy to install and I like the 2 layers of protected film with small handles to make it easier to apply without getting fingerprints on the adhesive. It is a tiny bit smaller than the glass face of the watch, so it is easy to get it slightly misaligned, but that doesn't matter too much. The film is clear enough and only slightly reflective so it doesn't impact readability much, but it does reduce legibility slightly. The film is not oleophobic and it shows smudges and fingerprints much more than the original glass, although a quick wipe with my shirt or anything handy clears up the screen. I bought this protector because I had scratched the Gorilla Glass and wanted to prevent additional scratches. The film ever so slightly reduces the appearance of the existing scratches, so that is a bonus. Overall I'd say it is worth the money.

Eventhough my Pebble Steel watch has Gorilla Glass, I would still feel much better if I have a protector on top. I chose the iLLumiShield protector. It arrived quickly, and with the low price, it seems to be an ideal candidate.Upon receiving it, I first thought it was a "wet" applicable, but that was not the case, but that was no problem. The fit and finish of this protector matches the screen and once you have applied it, you cannot really tell if your Pebble Steel has a protector on top, which is what I desire.As advertised, the screen was ultra-clear, and you do not notice it was applied to your watch. I've been using this for two weeks, and am very pleased with it. Knowing there is a layer of protection between daily life and my watch gives me a good feeling.

I've installed a lot of screen protectors over the years, but the first set of three I received would not adhere to the screen. The first came off while cleaning the screen right after I had installed it. The second lifted a bit, caught an edge and popped off. I found a bit of dust under the corner of the screen protector a day after I had installed it. These things just would not stick. I emailed ILLuminShield customer service describing the problem and received a very prompt reply asking for a picture of the remaining screen protector (this was before I put the third one on). They then asked if I would like to try another set, to which I replied yes. They sent the replacement set out immediately, but USPS decided to ship from CA to IL via GA, so it took a while. The replacement set had two tabs instead of one. Installation went fine, and there are no more issues with the screen protector not adhering to the screen. If you are having problems, contact ILLuminShield and they will take care of you.

The screen protector fit perfectly and if you do it right you wont be able to tell it's there. I've gone in the shower with it and it stays on. The only problem I had while applying it was removing the top layer of film after I applied it to the watch. When I pulled the tab it came with out he film so I had to separate the screen protector from the top layer of film manually. Not a big deal and I don't know if it's the same for all since I've only used one so far but just thought I should mention it. Also the price seems a bit high for how small they are, I've gotten tablet sized screen protectors for around the same price.

If you are considering a screen protector for your Pebble Steel watch, this is the one you should get. It's fairly priced compared to the competition in Amazon. I like the fact that it doesn't change how the watch face looks. It still looks as clear as it did without the screen protector. I haven't noticed it smudge yet. I just don't know if this is really necessary, but for an expensive watch, I guess why not?Edit: I recently bumped my watch face into a metal corner of a door. It looks like the screen protector took all of the heat and did its job. The screen protector now has a few significant scratches that you can actually feel, but the actual glass is perfectly safe. I was starting to regret the purchase because it caused the screen to be a bit of a fingerprint magnet, but that save made it totally worth the buy. Whew, dodged that bullet.

This item was very well packaged and clearly of high quality. My only criticism would be that the instructions were for a screen protector for a phone rather than the Pebble, but it was relatively easy to work out how to fit the product, and the fit was perfect. As a bonus I didn't realise at the time of ordering that there are 3 protectors supplied in the package.

Awful. The installation manual is confusing, misleading, the drawings are for a phone and not the watch, it doesnt explain that the protector is between two layers od plastic and the protector itself is near impossible to install without bubbles or messing it up completely.

Did the Job perfectly, easy to apply.

Product arrived on time and well packaged which is what the one star is for. The screens do not stick to the watch face and pull off easily when tabs are removed. The worse product by far I have bought from amazon.
