The pulley came off in 20 miles!!
2008 GMC Sierra 6.2L. It was a proper fit and looked/functioned as it should have…. I was able to drive to work and back one time, then on my next startup, the pulley walked itself almost completely off the water pump shaft, threw my belt off while running and ruined my belt. Luckily the belt is under warranty and was able to be replaced, but I’m already past the “return eligibility” on the pump itself because I waited a couple months to install it while I gathered other parts for this vehicle. I will be buying local now so maintain a warranty on it. This was not expected from an OE ACDelco part. Very disappointed in this, as now I’m out another $250 for a local house brand water pump and a couple gallons of dex-cool! Will try to update with pictures at a later time.
