One handed staples without sore forearms.
I needed to do a lot of stapling on a project, and was not looking forward to using my old, manual stapler. I decided to look at powered options. I mostly have DeWalt cordless tools, but thought this could be a good fit. I already had a battery adapter to use my DeWalt batteries with Ryobi tools. It feels as well built as my DeWalt stuff, and worked great. I shot well over 100 staples with a single battery. It is far easier to use than a manual one. If you have a large project, I recommend considering this. If I was going to use it a lot, I might have gone with the DeWalt one, so I didn't have to mess with the adaptor. But it really isn't a problem, and I don't expect to use it that often now. Although it is so much easier than the manual one, I might start using it more.

This stapler is awesome
I bought this instead of a manual stapler as I wanted the staple depth control. This works perfectly and the depth control is easy to adjust and works flawlessly

A Stapler Should be a Staple of your Bag of Tools
Move over, Bond. There's a new secret agent in town, and it's not undercover in a tuxedo – it's the Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless Compression Drive 3/8 in. Crown Stapler. Forget shaken, not stirred; this bad boy is all about compressed, not misfired.I recently welcomed this tool into my arsenal, and let me tell you, it's not just a stapler; it's the James Bond of upholstery. I decided to unleash its secret agent skills on a squad of chairs that were looking more tired than a cat after a laser pointer marathon. The result? A transformation so epic, even the chairs themselves didn't recognize each other. The stapler handled the job like a pro – no misfires, no drama, just a smooth operation that left me feeling like the James Bond of DIY. I half expected the stapler to ask for a martini after the mission was complete. 'Shaken or stirred?' it seemed to whisper as it effortlessly secured fabric in place. But let's not forget the real hero here – the 18 volts of power that turn every staple into a precision strike. It's like giving your stapler a double espresso; suddenly, it's wide awake and ready to tackle any upholstery espionage you throw at it.In conclusion, if you want a stapler that's more 007 and less 404 error, the Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless Compression Drive 3/8 in. Crown Stapler is your gadget of choice. It's so good; I wouldn't be surprised if Q himself is secretly reupholstering the MI6 breakroom chairs with one right now. Move over, Bond. Ryobi's in the building.

Very strong stapler, stronger than anything else I have in the toolbox or have every used.
I purchased these (quite expensive if you think about it) electric stapler in order to add to my tool shed for casual DIY projects and cabling I do. I had seen someone review this new version and I was impressed with the product. I was blown away how much better they are than my Stanley set with cabling and the sheer force of the staple itself. I use it for some standard stapling, but where I found it much better at doing was stapling cables in place. I do a lot of networking and cable work for A/V and computer work and these staples have some real holding power while having a nice guide to avoid the obvious, hitting the cable. So many times I just needed a way to hold the cable in place while we button things up, that I reach for a stapler to hold the cable and even though those staplers had guides, they werent very fixed in place and allowed the cables to move during the inevitable jump of the stapler when it hits. This is something I really like about this stapler, the kickback of the unit while in use is almost nothing. This means you are much more likely to put that staple where you wanted it. Most hand held staple guns tend to shift when they follow through the strike, but this unit does a great job.Pros: Fast, no waiting for the next trigger pull and no lead time for the strike. Holds many staples in one go. Easy to see how many staples are left (though the final 10 or so are obscured). Supports a few sizes of staples. Common and inexpensive battery platform that hasnt changed for 20 years. Powerful and strikes through even metal corner plates with ease without having to hammer in the final amount. Wont leave the average staple proud even in most hardwoods.Cons: It is much bigger than a manual stapler, granted. Need some experience with the unit to better gauge the final location of the staple. Even though there is a mark for the staple, the edge of the unit is quite a bit wider than the staple. Can't staple extremely close to your edges because the staple fires about a 1/3 inch from the edge of the staple gun. Doesn't have bump fire modes (get the Milwaukee if that is your thing), but is a bit stronger firing mechanism than even the red sister tool.

Another awesome Ryobi tool!
I bought this when I was installing the vapor barrier for the addition I put on my house. This thing is awesome. It drove hundreds of staples on a charge, and the adjustable depth allowed me to drive them just flush so the barrier didn't get torn making the taping job that much easier. Since then, I've used it for cable stapling, and some light upholstery, and it hasn't hesitated one single time. I had a Craftsman corded stapler and this Ryobi kicked its butt. Plus you add in that whole one-battery thing that Ryobi has and it's a no-brainer! I'd certainly recommend this stapler again and again.
