Beautifully done, except for the inescapable flaw of shaping the "quick release" button so that it slips out of your hand when you grasp it. Amazing that no one thought of a strap like this before, and then to make it this good, and yet not quite get there. I guess they wanted to make sure that it will never come apart accidentally. It won't. Now if I can just get a good grip . . . .Okay, I have bumped it up a couple of stars from my original rating when I first tried the strap. I have discovered it works best to push quick release while the guitar is still over your shoulders so there is pressure on the strap, and with my left hand on the quick release and my right hand holding guitar by the neck where it joins body, "click" and it opens relatively easy. On the other hand, if you try to release the strap while it is off the shoulder and strap is loose, very tricky. A redesign of the quick release buckle would eliminate this, but maybe wouldn't look as good. Other than the too slick quick release button, this strap seems excellent and well made.

After purchasing the second guitar in my collection that has only one strap button, I started looking around for a strap that I could tie around the headstock as an alternative to adding a second strap button. The Planet Waves Quick Release Strap is reasonably priced, seems like it should hold up to years of use and the part that attaches to the headstock is relatively non-obtrusive. It should be noted, though, that leaving the headstock end attached might not be particularly aesthetically pleasing to any audience, and the dangling bit could get in the way of the player. It's so easy to completely remove that part from the headstock, though, that this strap deserves a full five-star rating.

This probably sounds dumb for a simple little strap, but I love this thing. I've had the ones you have to tie to the headstock and I've hated them. This thing has a loop that you put through, and - my favorite feature - a quick release buckle thing... Again, overkill for a simple little strap, but I love the quick release thing!! It's really handy. So, whoever thought of this - great job. You rock. Thank you so much.Also, arrived on time in new packaging. 0 complaints about this product and order.

I like that it's pretty easy to put on the guitar and I don't have to worry about drilling a whole in my guitar. Not the most comfortable, but then again, I'm not used to straps.

This strap was precisely what I needed when I realized the top "button" on my acoustic was positioned WAY too close to the neck! Instead of using the "tie" above the nut north of the first fret, I actually used the ties to fasten them around the button near the neck and it worked out great! In fact, it worked so well that I bought 2 more for my other acoustics that don't suffered from the same placement issues. The quick release functionality works well too and is another selling point so you don't always have to pull the strap over your head when stepping out of the guitar.

I looked for this type of strap for awhile. I wanted one exactly like this, with these types of connectors (1 acoustic string and 1 regular), and this one works perfectly for what I need. Bought this to use on my Ubass (another excellent product, a jazz bassist's dream). The quick release is easy to use and very secure. I could not be happier with this purchase. This thing is well made and will probably be around longer than I will ;p

I love this guitar strap. The quick release feature is really great because I can leave on part around the neck of the guitar and then strap on the strap itself very easily and quickly. The strap seems to be able to hold up the guitar pretty well, and this option saved me from having to put an extra hole in my guitar, if you don't want to do that. Again, love this strap and would highly recommend!
