Interpet Tri-SPEC Generation 2 App Controller

At first all except timer worked. Discovered that after reset when all lights are on you need to adjust to your required light level. Then set the timer. Then either leave the lights on or manually turn them off. The lights will come on to the preset level.

Just after 2 years of use it stopped responding to controller app. Replaced controller unit battery and also reset the unit, but doesn't work

The jury is out. I ignored the reviews and purchased. But......... so far the timer hasn’t worked when it’s time to turn on but does when it’s time to go off. Also every time I open the app I have to rescan. I’ve had the fluval version all built in Bluetooth and that is fantastic but not bright enough for me so got this as a demo I saw was perfect. The light itself is very bright but the controller is work in progress. Unless there is a Bluetooth update I will play will over next few days and be sending back if the time doesn’t work as expected. That’s the whole reason I got it.

Expensive for what it does. Issue with connectivity with App. Still waiting for advice from Interpet. No direct tech support. Phone them up and you can only talk to sakes people. Told to send details of issue by email but still waiting for reply after 4 days.

I'm now onto my second light unit and had to order my second controller, and It doesn't work, the controller and qpp are more hassle than they are worth, after spending near on £500 i still don't have a functioning light for my fish tank :( and to top it off google play no longer have the app, AVOID!

Timer hasn’t worked when it’s time to turn on but does when it’s time to go off. But then fails to go into Bluemoon mode.

Connects to light, some controls work. Timing controls don’t work, they set and save okay but when it’s time for the lights to come on nothing happens. Very disappointed, especially for the price which it costs 😕

Didn't work, downloaded app to phone, installed switch, nothing worked. Sent back for refund.
