Stansport Tatami Straw Ground Mat

This mat is not the greatest quality but if handled carefully and used on flat surfaces could possibly get some life out of this. Folding up and unfolding seemed like a slight task as if not careful the seams can get pulled out. The fabric is not fabric at all but more like a plastic. This mat was really affordable and not bad if handled with care. I used it as an entry way to our camp tent and was on a flat surface. It was very easy to clean as all dirt and dust washed off with light water from a hose. I wouldn't recommend using this mat on uneven surfaces or sand like a beach. Overall it worked for what I needed it for and still have it ready for my next camping trip or outdoor adventure.

I bought this mat to use under my dogs' pen when we go camping. It is the perfect size for it and will have many other good uses I'm sure. Much less expensive than the RV mats that a lot of people use. The carrying straps are very handy!

This mat is perfect for keeping in the back of your car for impromptu picnics or a day at the shore. It fold up easily and provides great ground cover. By the name of the product I had actually expected it to be a real woven straw/Tatami mat. When I 1st opened it and saw it's plastic I was disappointed, but after using it I'm pretty enthused about it. I'm sure it will be much more durable than straw, can be rinsed down with a hose with no ill effects, etc...

I use this for camping inside my screen tent. If you put it on wet ground, of course water can permeate, so use common sense and you'll be fine. It's a great way to keep dirt off of everything. Love that it folds up with the handles attached. Just hose it off when you get home and you're ready for the next trip.

I have used the mat on beaches and I regularly use it as a yoga mat. I have also lent it to friends who just moved to a new place and do not have enough furniture. I like that it is easy to clean, which I have done after every beach outing. As the border of it is fabric, I just spray the multi-surface cleaner on it under the shower and the dirt comes off easily!

Great for kids, dogs or just to put down on the beach then put your towel on top of it. Adds an extra layer of comfort from the sand.Super durable, very easy to hose off and fold up.Folds into a small light weigh Mat.I would buy this again for sure.

I took this on vacation to the beach. It is lightweight. fit in my beach tote easily. It has straps attached to it for easy carry once it is folded. This was better than a blanket. Shake off the sand and refold. It would be great for a picnic or fourth of july blanket, lay on the ground to watch fireworks . Large enough for two to three people to be comfortable. It survived three adults and a four year old getting on and off. Didn't rip.

This is not at all well made. The binding started coming off the minute I opened it to use the first time. Go to Walmart and buy one.

Quality is not very good. The “straw” is missing throughout the mat. Feels very flimsy, the straw was cracking and snapping as I was unfolding it. Not sure if I’ll even get a season out of it.

This is ok. A little cheap but it'll work for the beach. Used a couple times and hasn't broken yet.
