Exact replacement for my Ryobi RY141612 Pressure Washer
Recently my Ryobi electric pressure washer (RY141612) would not turn on; the Test/Reset on plug failed so I was sure the problem was with the GFCI plug.Original plug listed the Catalog Number as: G1215PA2-1ElegrpClass A Rainproof GFCI15A 125VAC 60Hz 1875WDid some research and this item is an exact replacement from the same manufacturer and cheaper than I could find anywhere else.4 Phillips head screws to open the bottom cover2 Phillips head screws to release the power and negative leads2 Phillips head screws for the cord strain relief clamp.Install into new plug is just as simple.Instructions with illustration included.Comes with 3 rubber grommets (14AWG, 16AWG, 18AWG)Test device per instructions prior to use. This got my pressure washer working again and hope it’s helpful to you.

Instead of Throwing Away my Electric Pressure Washer...
The GFCI on my pressure washer started clicking constantly, and then went dead. I was going to throw the pressure washer away, but decided to try this Replacement Plug as a last ditch effort. Took some looking but found this two-wire model. Two screws on old plug to open it, two screws to remove the wires, two screws for the clamp. Two screws on the Replacement Plug to open it, two screws to attach the wires, two screws for a replacement clamp. Reused the old weather seal, although Replacement Plug came with three different new ones. Big PLUS #1 - Plugged into wall and pressure washer started like new. Big PLUS #2 - Instead of the whole Replacement Plug plugging in to the outlet (weatherproof outlets don't fit flush to the wall, but have doors and covers and such, making this a touchy job), this one has a short dongle which plugs into the outlet perfectly. I am satisfied.

Fixed!
If I could give this thing more stars I would. I purchased a sun joe power washer about three years ago to replace my old one. But and after just one use it stopped working. So got the old one out. Every year I would get it out and fiddle with it. Owners manual was worthless. So many sad customer service posts. And where to have it fixed. Shipping. Even my handy son in law had no idea what was wrong. Then this year I saw plenty of posts the plug was bad. Could it be? I was at try this or just throw it out and live with the old one. So I went for it. The instructions are short and sweet. The screws on the sun joe were so tight couldn’t budge them free. I thought what the heck. This will either work or I am throwing it out. So I cut off the old one. Stripped the wires. Attached this and that. Screwed the top on. Time to run the test and figured it came down to this will work or not and send it back, keep using the sad but working old washer, or get zapped. Nervously I plugged it in and followed the directions for the test. It worked. Really? Hooked up the water and bam. Works great. Have a Sun Joe power washer that won’t work. Change the plug. If I can do it anyone can.

Perfect. Exact match for Stanley 2150 pressure washer
This is exactly what I needed. I’ve had a Stanley 2150 pressure washer for 2.5 years, the GFCI broke (constant buzzing when plugged in and not allowing power to the unit) a half year after my warranty ended. Checked the specs on the OEM GFCI and instead of spending $37 on a Stanley replacement I went with this universal one. The ELEGRP is on the right in the photos with the wiring running in, the broken GFCI that came on the unit is on the left.Take a look at the photos, other than white buttons they are exactly the same. The Stanley GFCI catalogue number has a “-1” at the end. Otherwise, perfect match.Because of this, the wiring was already set up to snap right in and use the same screws. Took me 10 seconds to swap the wires, and my pressure washer works again while saving $25. No brainer!

Pressure Washer Replacement GFI
Perfect replacement for an Echo Bearcat 2000 PSI pressure washer. The original GFI plug quit on me, it would just make a buzz sound. I searched Amazon and found this was the exact replacement 2-wire GFI plug, same as the OEM. I hope this one last longer than the original.

Very Large
It works as stated, no problem there. However, this thing is very big. This is not something I would use for a small piece of portable electrical equipment. While this is somewhat "waterproof", it is only as good as your wiring of it to your equipment. If you leave gaps around the strain relief be it on you. Furthermore you should not spray it with your pressure washer under any circumstances, if that is what you have, and for a electric pressure washer you really do need something like this. Also, do you really need surge suppressors on electric motors? I have never used a surge suppressor, anywhere, on anything, and I have never had a problem, although I have seen several suppressors catch on fire at work, which turns me off on them - not saying that this will, just asking if it really is a feature you need. I always take the position that the equipment manufacturer should design his equipment to work on the power line and be power line friendly. Doesn't always happen. Your situation may be different. This is really only needed for 2 prong, older tools, that are not double insulated, like an old electric drill with a metal body (which you should probably throw away). It gives added protection for strange scenarios (there is always a strange scenario) You can find smaller GFI units without as much surge protection that just plug in, for your smaller appliances.

Worked great on a Conair hair styler
I have a Conair InfinitiPro hair styler that just stopped working all of a sudden one day. I was sure it was the styler itself, rather than the plug that was the problem, but thought I'd give a replacement GFCI plug a chance. I got this and the installation instructions were very clear .... and it worked to fix the problem! It's about 40% larger than the original plug, which I don't like. It's also a little pricey, I thought. But a replacement styler would have cost me around $40 at least. So overall I'm happy. This was the cheapest GFCI replacement plug I could find on Amazon, and I would buy again.
