New to sharpening blocks so no comparisons possible. This was good value and works well. If you have really messed up a knife you will need a lower number (400?) for more abrasion/grit. Otherwise it will take forever. This is ideal for a knife you want back to razor sharp and polished to perfection. Beautifully boxed and presented.

I finally found what I was looking for. Because I spend a lot of time in the kitchen I need to keep my knives sharp. After studying, I decided to order a set of stones from ISHI. It seemed like an excellent solution also because of the price / quality ratio. The product arrived in a few days, undamaged. The package looks so great that it is also suitable as a gift. The package contains stones, holder and manual. Handling and precise instructions on how to do this is also detailed on the videos on the Internet. So don't worry that you can't do it yourself at home. It's really simple and especially effective. Thank you for a great product. I already know what a gift my family and friends will receive :)

I received the goods in a perfect condition. The set contains all the parts you need for home use and it all came in a very luxurious box. It perfectly fits for the sharp knife – lovers as a present. You can use it easily and quickly and the manual with instructions comes in very handy. If you don’t like reading manuals, there are lots of videos on YouTube either. Moreover, it is way more practical than honing steel, because you don’t damage the edges of knives because of a bad sharpening angle. There is a special knife holder included in the box, which ensures the right angle. For those, who insist on sharp knives and cannot imagine their lives without them, it’s a must! :)

The knife sharpening stone set was packed nicely in a good-quality box. It's convenient if you want to give it as a present. It's very easy to use due to the included instructions. There's a knife holder attached, which holds the grinding angle perfectly. I like that even after sharpening 8 knives there are no signs of abrasion and the sharpening stone looks still the same. It's a great help in the kitchen.

It comes in beautiful packaging. Good size for the money paid and above all love the packaging.

Does exactly as described. 5*Remarks: the angle guide provided really does help, but scratches the blade where it holds. put a bit of sellotape before sharpening it with it, and remove it as soon as you finish.
