I've been using these locks for years, and they truly perform well as long as you remember to keep them lubricated. In my experience, regular lubrication is key, especially if you encounter harsh winter conditions with salted roads. I usually purchase these locks in a set along with the coupler insert lock. However, I must admit that I sometimes forget to remove the bar lock from the trailer frame or tool box, leading to occasional replacements. Despite this minor inconvenience, I highly recommend these locks for their durability and effectiveness. Just remember to give them some care with a good spray oil 3-4 times a year to keep them in top condition.

This coupler lock serves the purpose. We've used one for years and just bought several more for a different trailers. I like that it has a little top that covers the key hole, so it protects it. After several years, it does get aggravating as the key won't turn smoothly in it anymore. With the price, you can afford to replace it after a few years. It's well made and easy to use.

Quality is great and fits perfectly in the tight space. It's somewhat easy to use once you get a hang of it, you pretty much lock it in each one of the dashed positions Like I said it's the perfect companion for the 1UP bike rack with a 2-in hitch!!

Had this for awhile now and it gets a lot of use, but the key is hard to turn at times.

I was looking for a lock that can lock my trailer, I asked a question if the lock is 6mm, after waiting for one week, no one answered, so I have to take a leap & buy it, unfortunately its 7mm plus, had to return it. I had added two pictures, with 2x measurements from different places, both have different readings, my calliper is lab calibrated by a calibration company, so its 100% correct. The whole specification includes every thing, but the most crucial part was missing, picture attached for those who are looking for such info, it would have been appreciated, if seller had responded to the question.

I have had several of these locks and they work well IF YOU KEEP THEM LUBRICATED. I’ve had some on my trailers for well over 5 years, and if you’re using them in winter with salted roads, you absolutely must lube them with a good spray oil at least 3-4 times per year. I normally buy these locks in a set with the coupler insert lock, but have a bad habit of occasionally leaving the bar lock on the trailer frame or tool box (or truck bumper for that matter) and driving away. Hence why I need to purchase new ones occasionally!
