No, the sling is made to fit over one shoulder only and can not be changed.

Q: Is this bag waterproof? I need a bag that can withstand heavy rain and wet surfaces

It is waterproof. I have been in the rain with it before. However, I have not been in a full blown thunderstorm with it but I would definitely trust this bag with my equipment during a thunderstorm. It has a protective lining in the bag that I can feel. Just ensure that everything is properly zipped and you should be ok.

Q: Will this hold a 6d with an attached 70-200mm lens?

I believe this case is up to the challenge. The internal compartments attach with Velcro, so adjustments are quick and easy and limited only by your imagination.
