Does its job and does it well
I got this to replace my last cloth mousepad, which was also advertised as a gaming mousepad, and this has been by FAR superior.I have pets. My pets have hair. That hair likes to fly around every which way, no matter how much I vacuum. Cloth mousepads try to catch every little bit of it and get it caught in your optical or laser mice. With the PVC top on the Kairios Pro, it's really easy to clean. No hair gets stuck in it, no grime, no oils from hands, etc.The top is incredibly smooth and my mouse glides evenly along it effortlessly. This is exactly what I was looking for, after dealing with the lack of uniformity of my last cloth mousepad.It feels quite sturdy along all of the edges. I'm not worried about the edge peeling up, although after my last one, I am trying to not let it get too close to the edge of my desk and risk hanging off. That would just be asking for trouble.If you're looking for a good gaming mousepad, just get this. You won't be disappointed. This isn't that expensive by any means and is far superior to any of the softer cloth mousepads you're going to find out there.;

BAD BAD - DO NOT BUY THIS - unless you really want to waste time and money.
OK - so here is the updated review with photos.The GOOD is .. only that the pad is LARGE, and the top surface is SLICK.The BAD is REALLY BAD. POOR POOR quality materials and workmanship. DO NOT BUY THIS unless you want to waste money, and end up buying a good pad in another month.As you know (if you read all of the reviews), I reviewed the last one I received. The clear plastic top surface was separating from the flexible pad in all four corners.BAD BAD BAD. Within a week or so, the entire top surface would have probably separated. So, I sent it back immediately and bought another (the company did not replace it, so I have to get a refund, then re-order. Hence, the reason for a separate review.Anyway - the new one STILL has 1/2 dozen little bubbles around the edge (you can see the bubble in the bottom edge of the pad in this photo) where the top surface layer is peeling up from the flexible pad. No where near as bad as the last one, but COME ON!! Why should ANY brand new product be defective. Little bubbles turin into big bubbles, then you have the entire top surface peel away.Having use it now for about 2 weeks, the entire pad is starting to bend up along the edges. In other words, it will not sit flat on the desk top. The mouse cord (from my wired mouse hooked to a second computer) slides right under under the edges that are rolling up. See photo of the cord getting stuck under the edge of the pad. You can also see the entire far edge beginning to roll up from the desk.Bottom line recommendation to the manufacturer. SAVE THE MONEY YOU PUT INTO A PRETTY, FANCY, EXPENSIVE BOX, AND SPEND IT ON THE ACTUAL PRODUCT QUALITY. The fancy box is merely lipstick on a pig.

Good surface, but quality control . . . defective
I received this mouse pad the other day in the mail. The packaging is fantastic for the price -- I was honestly very excited to open it, expecting an awesome mouse pad. However, the product had some flaws.Pros:+ nice, smooth surface for clean gliding+ good grip on bottom of pad, doesn't slide much (does slide over time)+ aesthetically pleasing designCons:- corners are bent upwards, the mouse pad will not lay flat on a table (came this way out of box)- the mouse surface (the smooth, plasticky top finish) is not completely adhered to the bottom surface. There are air bubbles in the corners of my mouse pad (most likely quality control defect)Unfortunately, the two defects in manufacturing dock off a large portion of my review. Would be a 5-star product if the corners were properly finished! The price is amazing, still.The product was only $10, so I'm not going to bother sending it back for a replacement.

Needs a little More "Pro" to be Professional
The Kairos PRO is Sentey's Premium Mouse Pad. Like all Premium Products, it is listed in their highest tier within their catalog. It spouts the most amount of features compared to their other mouse pads, and holds claims to be leagues above the rest. The Kairos is cataloged under the Professional line with some fairly solid reasons. So far the mouse pad does live up to its claims to a certain extent, but it may not be for you or make that noticeable of a difference.The Kairos Pro is packaged in a flat box unlike other mouse pads from Sentey. It already lays even right out of the package and the factory box is coated with foam padding. There should be no concerns of deterioration along the way, neither water or dust damage either. Everything is professionally packaged and lives up to the series name.The pad itself is quite remarkable and has an interesting combination of materials. The surface is neither hard nor cloth soft, but more a mixture between the two. It has the feeling of a hard mat with the flexibility of soft one. As stated above, the pad lays entirely flat, but needs to be on a solid even surface to prevent bending. This make the Karios Pro somewhat comfortable to use compared to other hard mats; still other "true" hybrid mouse pad will make a better choice.The Karios performs just as well as you'll expect from a premium product. It provides good tracking, stays in place, and takes the smallest approach to graphics. You will find only the name of the product in small letters across the middle, and the company's logo in a shading that matches the pad. Further eliminating any tracking problems caused by the advertising images. You won't be buying this mouse pad for design or gamer brag, but more so for performance.Unfortunately, durability seems to be an afterthought when it comes to this product. After a week of use, the edges are already starting to show flaking. Little pieces are starting to come off, which have not affected performance yet, but makes you wonder about the top layer. In addition, there was no effort to specially bond the top and bottom pieces making them furthermore suspicious of separating over time. In my experiences this simple manufacturing "gluing" of the two layers only leads to peeling within a short period (some as little as three to six months). The degradation of the product after so little use does question the durability, and whether the mouse pad will continually provide reliable tracking.All in all, the Karios Pro is not a bad product and does have some merit. It has a non-abrasive texture for comfort, presentably packaged, and promotes some consistency of performance. There are a few issues though and that is notably longevity. I'm not sure how long this product will hold out for and whether the "flaking" will stop after a certain amount. It does have its attributes, and the advertising is not over-exaggerating, noticeably being likeable to a hard mat (not exactly though) without grinding away your mouse feet (skates). I would recommend if you're looking for a hybrid like surface and can get it at a bargain. But I would suggest another if you're looking for something that will hold out longer.(I tested this mouse pad with three different gaming brands that have their own surface testing utility. None were Sentey mice. Two scored this pad with a three out of five, and one a two out of five. Interestingly, the Sentey Psyched pad scored equivalently to the Karios Pro except when it came to steady tracking).
