Works great.

Hunter Ceiling fan stopped spinning. Pulled down the light fixtures, found the capacitor, cut some wires and spliced it in, put all back together and it works great! Just make sure to note you're replacing the right capacitor as well as keep a note of all your wiring.

Installed the capacitor works great bought total of 6 for my other fans that are all the same. They were here on date stated. Reasonable priced. Recommend this product for sure.

I have a few Hunter fans and years back when one would only run on slow Hunter sent me a 2 wire 5mfu capacitors to add to my fan that had a 5 wire single capacitor. Hunter no longer carries the capacitor but this is the exact same and it fixed my slow fans.

My ceiling fan was not spinning on one speed and slow on the others. My hunter fan has two capacitors in it. Replaced the one capacitor with this and the other with a 5 wire 5uf-5uf-5uf . Hunter fan now works as good as new! Saved me $100s in cost of a new fan.

It worked. My ceiling fan was making a hums noise.

Capacitor worked and fixed the issue with my fan (don't buy Hunter fans). However, it has a hum that's much louder than it should be.

You do not have to take the entire fan down from the ceiling to replace the motor capacitors. They are located in the pendant below the fan which holds the light(s). Remove the light bulb(s) and then the cover for the pendant to access the wiring. You will need one or two small, orange appliance wire nuts.

Our fan was running very slowly. I checked a You Tube video which described the need to replace the worn out capacitor to return the fan to original speed. I opened up the fan and got the specs for the cap, ordered it from Amazon, received it two days later, installed it into the fan assembly, and am now enjoying the equivalent of a new fan. Good deal all around.
