Shooter3D Big Shooter buck is a great alternative to high priced 3D targets for the casual or serious hunter. It offers large body size, 125” Pope & Young antlers, and replaceable inserts for realistic practice and long target life. Easy arrow removal is also a plus! With ground stakes included, it is the perfect addition to any backyard range.

For the price, you get exactly what you pay for. It's not high end, consider it more for occasional use and entertainment
For the price, you really get exactly what you pay for. It's not high end, consider it more for occasional use and entertainment. I set it up in front of a standard bag, expect some through shots especially around the edges of the insert. Using 55-60# draw and standard diameter arrow/field tips, yes it knocks out a bit of foam on the backside sometimes (about a 3/4 to 1" circle). I've shot it about 50 times and i'd give it a realistic life of about 250 shots. It's strong point is shooting at a sillouette with no bulls eye. Its a great way to practice for hunting and i'll likely keep shooting at it long past it's prime with a backer. If you want to try it out, it a cheap way to see if you like it and use with friends. I knew it wasn't a $400 target and i'm OK with that.

Fun to shoot but doesn't last
A ton of fun to shoot but...expected it to hold up much better. Started out with the nose being broken upon delivery. Not a big deal to me since I'm not shooting the target in the face but still disappointing. I just put some duct tape on it and carried on.Very disappointed in how poor the insert has held up. I can't even shoot field tips at it without worrying about the arrows getting a full pass through! Received it Aug 3, 2017 so I have only been shooting at it for a month and a half! (It's Sept 21) Only shot 2 broadheads at it and I'm glad I didn't shoot more! Pictures are proof. Only shooting 58 lbs with my compound bow. Back side of core just explodes with field tips. My shed door already needed to be replaced but it now has some new holes in it. Do yourself a favor and make sure there is something solid behind the target when you are shooting...I don't recommend your shed door though.

Good size. Works well with high speed bows
Good size. Works well with high speed bows. Antlers start to sag after a while though. They come out of the foam a little each arrow that his the kill zone. Will purchase again. Have had for 3 years and still same kill pad. Average practice through out summer and fall.

Good target, a bit small but you get the idea. Watch out for cow elk!
Good target, don't hit a leg and you will be ok. Elk have a bit of a problem with it ... so take it in at night.

about as good as you can get
FOR THE MONEY,,,,about as good as you can get. I have had no problems with this. Good size, however, all your doing is shooting at the insert. Looks great and takes punishment well. The Glendel 7100 is the best in this class but it is 33% more $$. You cant go wrong with either one of these. This is a Great buy!!!!

550 grain arrow and would not feel comfortable with this target stopping my arrow
This target was purchased as a gift. If I had the option I would not purchase this target again for several reasons.- the target says Big Shooter, and the body on this thing maybe comparable to a 110 pound deer- the target doesn't stop a bow that has any speed to it. I shoot a BT-X 31 at 60 pounds, 550 grain arrow and would not feel comfortable with this target stopping my arrow. I currently shoot with it in front of a Big Boy Archery target and since the first shot, arrow still travels a good foot into my Big Boy Archery target.-As other reviewers have mentioned the foam does not look like it will hold up very long and I would agree with thatOne the contrary, this target may be good for someone who shoots trad, or a youth or someone who doesn't shoot a higher poundage or fast bow.

Meh!
Not super impressed with this. I realize $100 isn't a lot for something of this size, but I still expected better. The legs barely fit it right and come off too easily. They are a cheap hard hollow plastic and they don't secure the deer that well to the ground stakes. The foam replaceable insert in the "kill zone" doesn't fit quite right and so it bulges out several inches and looks like the deer is exploding. It's not a horrible 3D target, it just isn't a very good quality one.

Not the best but,
I like being able to shoot at a life like animal, but it’s smaller than most bucks, but it’s close. You will shoot it out soon, I shoot everyday 15-20 arrows with field tip, right now it will hold the arrow in place. The arrow does come out the other side about half way. This my 2nd one, and for the price, it works..
