PearlCoGlass Water Universal Classic Filter (White) incl. 3 Universal Classic Filter Cartridges (Compatible with Brita® Classic)

Great glass water filter. Was looking for something that wasn’t plastic as trying to reduce our exposure to BPA’s (plastic parts are BPA free). Glass jug part holds 2 litres of water, plastic filtering jug holds 1 litre, so you do have to filter twice to fill the jug. The filtering process is super quick however (60 seconds ish?). For first use I gave my partner a glass of filtered water and a glass of tap and asked if he could tell which was which, and he got it straight away as was such a drastic difference.Only feedback is that the instructions for first use (submerging the filter in water for 5 mins, then filtering and throwing out the water twice before the new filter is ready to go) were not clear on the packaging. I think it was written in Dutch only, but the box had English version instructions too, but only regarding the jug - not the filter.Came with 3 filters though, so great value for money.

It took me some time to track down this glass water filter machine from PearlCo. Its easy to resemble, simple to use and I don't think I can live without it now. The filtered water tastes fresh and without residual metallic taste. I also had a bit of difficulty tracking down a supplier of compatible water filter cartridges for the machine, but glad to say the problem is now sorted. I may try the PearlCo Protects filter cartridge next time as I live in a very hard water region.

Bought for 2 factors - only filter jug made of glass that I could find on Amazon and the cheerful red trim. Glass avoids that nasty plasticky taste and any BPA/BPS/BPF etc worries. The glass is so thin that within 18 months, a crack developed. Screwing the top on too tight (how)? Wear and tear w very gentle treatment?Very convenient that you can use Brita filters - the original ones being difficult to procure and expensive, to boot. However, the warning light on the lid claims that the same filters used in Brita jugs last for a shorter time in the PearlCo than in a Brita jug that filters a larger volume of water. How is this possible?Other cons:1. Small reservoir size - not ideal for a family2. Only the jug/reservoir is made of glass. The handle, filter and lid are all plastic3. PriceAt £40, this was more expensive than other brands; though 18 months later, on the crazy Amazon price system, it is now cheaper at £37 (compared to £27 for a Dafi). Go figure.

This is the only glass water filter jug on the market according to my extensive research.....and a great one!!Having broken my much-loved and used Bitta glass filter jug, I though it would be an easy thing to replace it. But years had gone by and plastic reigned. There was no glass to be had.....until the Pearl appeared. It is perfect in every way.Good size, stylish design and available in black and white (maybe other colours?) and best of all! It uses the classicBritta water filters so no need to trawl through specialist shops for replacements. I have bought several as (much appreciated) gifts Look no further! This is the one!

Hochwertige Verarbeitung. Lässt sich super befüllen durch die Öffnung im Deckel. Der Filter tut auch seine Arbeit. Genau das bekommen was ich erwartet hatte.

Evidentemente un clone dello stesso prodotto che avevo comprato a Londra ma con marca e qualità diversi, al triplo del prezzo. ‘Appena’ preso in mano per lavarlo dopo averlo scartato, si è spaccato il vetro vicino al manico. Incredibile.

la caraffa è veramente bella; il design con il vetro è elegante oltre che igienico, filtra l'acqua molto bene e diventa buona senza odori/sapori come piace a me. I filtri sono comodi da inserire ; ricordo che bisogna lasciarli in ammollo per 5 minuti in acqua, poi effettuare 2 filtrate a vuoto e infine si può iniziare a bere. Ho avuto un piccolo problema con la spedizione ma l'azienda PearlCo ha subito provveduto a risolverlo. La consiglio.
