Product works great. Have use it many times to re-grip gold clubs. Easy to work with, easy to store, no strong fumes, and doesn't eat plastic/rubber like mineral spirits. Only need a little to install each grip. You do get a few minutes working time to make any alignment adjustments you may want to make

First time I've tried a spray bottle. Loved spraying the underlying tape. It seemed harder to get enough spray inside the grip itself, but the grip still slid on easily. I just need to spray a bit more into the grip. Seems very efficient.

I decided to give this solvent a try as part of complete replacement of my club set grips. I was a little skeptical of the spray bottle actually working, so was prepared to just pour the solvent out instead. However, trying this spray approach proved to be just the right way to do it! I was able to quickly spray up/down the tape, once installed onto the shaft quickly and found I used a LOT less solvent. Basically almost no loss at all using this approach. The solvent itself is excellent, providing a really slick tape surface that allowed me to slide on the new grips with no problems whatsoever. I complete a full set of replacements in about an hour, using this solvent in the spray bottle plus the Brampton grip tapes (another great solution for time-saving replacement!). Highly recommend both for any grip replacement you might want to do!

So, what exactly makes this a “premium” grip solvent? Does it have more octane in it, like premium gasoline? Because it looks, feels, and smells like the same citrus-based stuff that everyone else sells. Putting that aside, though, it works just fine. The spray bottle is actually pretty useful … shoot some solvent down the grip (remember to plug up the hole first), shoot some solvent on the tape, and you’re in business (remember to unplug the grip ;-). So I don’t know about the premium-ness of this stuff, but overall I can’t complain.

Ich hab zum ersten Mal die Griffe gewechselt und mit dem Gleitmittel ging das super. Das Klebeband klebt sehr gut und ohne Gleitmittel geht das nicht. Für das Geld würd ich nicht mit Benzin oder so rumpanschen. Das Gleitmittel ist geruchsfrei und wie ich beurteilen kann auch ohne Handschuhe verwendbar. Einfach aufs Klebeband aufsprühen und ein bisschen was in den neuen Griff und einfach aufschieben und trocknen lassen. Super einfach.

With this solvent, it is not necessary to use a lot like how some videos show. Just spray enough to wet the tape and the grip will slip on easily. Easy to use and clean. Highly recommended!
