Nupla31675 PA375-ESG Pulaski Axe with Ergo Power Handle with SG Grip, 32" Handle Length

I bought this because I used pulaski's for four years building trails and clearing invasive's. I choose the Nupla because it's practically indestructible and is easy to spot laying on the ground. This version weighs a little more than the wooden handled types but is much less likely to break if you miss your target. It's a good solid tool.

My husband got this for me as a birthday present. It is wonderfully merciless on the invasive weeds on the perimeter of our property. It rains down holy hell on the horsetail and buttercups who stubbornly ignore every other method. Plus its great for keeping the bears off the deck.

Dissapointing quality of the cast axe head. Head poorly cast in China. Only the handle is made in the US. Buy the USFS approved Pulaski Axe made by Council Tool (head cast in the US) that meets USFS and GSA specs, from Forestry Suppliers instead. May not come with a cool looking fiberglass handle (American Hickory instead), but you will get an overall better quality, more effective tool than the Nupla, and 100% Made in the US versus the Nupla which says made in US when only the handle is made in the US. Chinese steel casting can be very hit or miss and you don't want one of these fracturing or breaking in use. That could be quite dangerous. Nupla should be more clear in their description that the head is NOT cast in the USA.In addition, for any such tool, I recommend you properly measure from the ground up to where your hands will grip the ax handle, or better yet, go to a local hardware store to check out different length ax handle lengths, to find the best length for YOU, before buying.

A really nicely crafted tool. I was afraid there might be some flex in the handle but that is not the case. Comes with edge protectors made of fitted rubber. Handy tool to have.

This is a very good, heavy duty Pulaski. I highly recommend it to someone who needs a good quality pulaski

Great for root removal and trenching. Best garden implement of destruction I have ever used.

Grips on handle perfect balance good.Not to heavy I'm using it for removing large stumps on walking trails.
