It is a black solid used in gas purification, decaffeination, gold purification, metal extraction, water purification, medicine, sewage treatment, air filters in gas masks respirators and highly many other applications. Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) passes through 80-mesh sieve. This powder is 99% less than 325-mesh. PAC has a very large surface to volume ratio with small diffusion distance. One gram of PAC can have a surface area of ~1,000 square meters. Beauty: Teeth whitening, clarifying face masks, detoxification, exfoliant, acne, eczema, psoriasis, dry skin, anti-viral, anti-fungal and antimicrobial Agriculture: Used by organic farmers as an animal feed additive, processing aid, nonagricultural ingredient and disinfectant. Wine Making: Used in organic winemaking as a processing aid to absorb brown pigment from white grape concentrates. Medicinal: Used to treat poisonings and overdoses following oral ingestion, diarrhea, indigestion and flatulence. Not suitable for strong acids or alkali, cyanide, iron, lithium, arsenic, methanol, ethanol or ethylene glycol. Incorrect application results in pulmonary aspiration, which can sometimes be fatal if immediate medical treatment is not initiated. Additional: Absorbs nasty odors, regulates humidity, blocks static electricity, and many more!

Careful use may bring positive gains
Very fine powder. It will make a mess if you are not careful. I use it in detox capsules; seems to be helping. It is also on hand should there be a food poisoning or other toxic issue. I haven't tried the toothpaste route yet - the potential for a mess seems high, but we'll see. Fair price and seems to be what is is supposed to be.

Great activated carbon
Excellent mesh size for the price. Comes vacuum packed in heavy resealable bag. Clearly labeled and exactly as described. Works very well to scrub and remove unwanted compounds from oleoresin being prepped for distillation. Scrub at 100f Filter through silica bed and 1 micron boro paper.

Great product!
Recieved quickly and though I haven't been able to use it yet, it appears to be exactly what I wanted. Will update if that changes. If it exceeds expectations, then I'll leave feedback as is.
