This is my third saddle stool over the years. I’m 5’ 8” 150 lbs and it’s a good size. I was going to go with a small task chair with a back and no arms, but given my concern for leg clots, I went back to a saddle so the bend in the torso isn’t at a 90° angle. This allows your legs to be a little more stretched out. Not sure about the long term comfort of the saddle just yet, doesn’t have a ton of padding and the saddle itself isn’t as high-pitched as the one I bought years ago. But so far it’s been pretty comfortable just wheeling around my office. The wheels are soft and don’t appear to damage my hard wood floors. I do not use a mat. I use this to putter around an office/craft room while frequently standing. I’ve owned two other more expensive stools in the past that were used for regular sitting in an office environment. This one I cannot say yet, but based on my knowledge of the other expensive stools, I would think this one would not be as comfortable for all day sitting. Overall, it’s great for my needs/tasks. It is very sturdy.

I have a chronic illness that makes it hard to stand so I purchased this to use in my kitchen and it works well. I love being able to roll around without getting up and it puts me at a good height compared to my counters. The seat does get a bit uncomfortable after a while, I wish it was just a bit more cushy but it’s overall an excellent purchase for the price!

This stool helps my posture, and it is really comfortable. I love rolling around on my hardwood floors. It did require some assembly, but it was worth it for the price. I wish the seat went up little higher; that is my only critique.

its comfy but its not as padded so the comfort only lasts for so long and then your back and butt start to hurt

So helpful for disabled people to use in the kitchen. The right height and rolls well! The blue color is a little odd but it was cheaper than the other colors. It was easy to assemble and is pretty comfortable to sit on. I feel pretty safe rolling around on it!
