Vitamin D was once an issue in my blood work and my doctor wanted me to do those huge doses to get mine up to par. I'm kinda skeptical about supplements being effective. Subcutaneous D3 (under your tongue) is the best way to take D3 per my physician. Better than swallowing a pill. Digested faster under your tongue instead of taking a pill with water.
