Looks and feels great but you can get better quality for less money
Pros: It looks and feels great, and makes the body a bit larger and easier to hold (ie, your pinky has something to hold on to), plus it provides some protection to the lower part of the body.Cons: It's expensive and the base is a thin sheet of what appears to be brushed aluminum over a 3-4 layer plastic wafer - cheap materials at a premium price. I ended up replacing mine with a competing model which had a solid aluminum baseplate for less money.

It looks great on the camera. The quality of the finish, especially the bottom is fabulous, and it allows you to access the battery door. It's good. Would buy again.
