The product works great. I’m a little confusion with the dongle. I thought it needed it plugged in to be charged. The dongle does not need plugged in to be charged. I don’t know why there’s a charging port on there, but also I’ve heard people complain about the dongle not fitting correctly. Make sure you push it in all the way it works great.

Excellent feeling, like the original NES controller, but with better grip on the bottom. Wireless delay isn’t noticeable (I’m not a professional player, so it’s fine for me). The only downside is its charging port—it’s micro USB, and it would be nice if it were USB-C

So yes the reviews are correct, the dongle is very loose on the original NES, but I plugged it in my retron 5 and it fit like a glove, not loose at all.Wow 🤔. Seems like it was designed more for the measurements of their own consoles. But all that aside when you finally get the dongle to connect, the controller is very comfortable and responsive. Very good controller and did not experience any lag.

Dongle doesn’t fit snug on an AVS. But seems to work ok. Feels light in hand.

I was having some issues with an older 8Bitdo controller that connected via Bluetooth and was looking for a replacement controller. I ended up getting two of these. It syncs rather easily and works with my RetroUSB AVS (FPGA NES) I think I have only ever had one situation where the controller was having some issues with connection but it resolved rather quick and was probably due to some other interference from some objects directly between myself and the controller.

This controller doesn’t work the controller will sync. But the buttons won’t work after. Don’t buy when you contact product support they don’t want to help. Stay away from this product.

Very responsive wireless controller with the original controller type connection. The rechargeable battery is a great upgrade. I love this controller and highly recommended it. The biggest problem is finding it in-stock. I have wanted a second one for months, these are tough to find.

I picked this up to use with emulators on the PC. I realize I could use an Xbox or Switch controller, but this size and layout just takes me back. It works well without noticeable latency. It was easy to pair, and the battery lasts a long time in between charges. My only gripe is that they use micro-USB for the charge port instead of the (now) more common USB-C connector.
