i've been a zippo user for years. i just like them for their ease of useand the way that once they've been fettled makes them a 'lights first time' lighter:take the inner out, remove the flint screwremove the felt padremove the cotton packingreshape the wick so it reaches the bottom of the innerrebulid in reverse orderwhen they are assembled in the zippo factory, the wicks are often pushed into a single corner, and that can cause problems when trying to light. and gives the appearance that it is already out of fuelthe myriad of different finishes Zippos come is spectacular
