Clarion WG3020D 12-Inch Dual 4-Ohm Voice Coil Subwoofer with Formidable Bass Performance

I haven't bought car audio equipment since early 2000s. I can't believe how low the prices are. I'm totally happy with this sub, got a cheap sealed box here in amazon, a cheap Boss "1000x1" amp (its not even close to that) but this bumps pretty good. Who am I (what's my name?) Bumps pretty hard, it moves the rearview and side mirrors pretty good, makes my already damaged ears tickle a little in 2005 Jeep Liberty. I get a bit of a db gain versus trunk install due to the open air of the jeep, but really happy. I spent less than $150 including the line adapter and install kit, still using the stock stereo and mids and tweets. No, it doesn't sound like the $2500+ system from my glory days, but I can relive them a little with this. I love it.

At first I was looking to to buy a really inexpensive subwoofer for a vibe black box 400 watt amp. I know it's really hard to find a good dependable sub these days, but anyways I picked one of these up for 30$ on Amazon. I've had it for about 6 months and it's still pounding hard. I've tried it on a sealed and ported box with phenomenal results, but I think this sub is truly for sealed enclosures. It sounds good with every kind of music. Definitely a SQ sub. It has great excursion also. Even with a new rockford T400.2 it has had no issues. Hit somewhere around 512rms. I thought the 1000 watt max labeled on the sub was a joke. Haha wrong i was. I would have never would have expected such a high quality product from Clarion. I even bought a new sub to replace it. A stronger Polk more expensive sub from best-buy and it out lived that one! I might even try looking into their higher power subs. Clarion you've made me a believer of super amazing sound without the need for taking up a lot of space or money! This will make your car rattle!!!!
