Tri-O-Plex Duo Protein Bar, Bursting Peanut Butter, 3.5 Ounce Bar, 12-Count

My wife actually has these bars on a daily basis and they are a meal replacement for her, I have had them several times and while they are not great tasting they are about the only bar we have both ever tried that makes you feel better almost instantly.

This is my favorite protein/energy/health bar, bar none. The taste is that of high-quality nutty peanut butter and the texture is fudgelike. Seriously yummy. And with 26 grams of protein per oversized bar, there's serious protein too. Because the bar is relatively dense with calories (nearly 400 total), I cut it into eight cubes for 50 calories a pop. Of course you can cut it in quarters, in half, or not at all depending on your calorie needs. I've been buying this bar for about two years and never tire of it. The only thing that gives me pause is one ingredient listed about halfway through the panel with some twenty components: it's hydrogenated cottonseed/rapeseed oil. I hope they'll switch to nonhydrogenated oil very soon, if not sooner! Meanwhile, this bar not only compares favorably to others on the market. It easily surpasses them, in my opinion, in taste, quality, and nutritional value. I couldn't possibly ask for more--except remove the hydrogenated oil; tweak the calories downward (or offer a slim version); and offer a more competitive price. Meanwhile, congratulations!

not as good as the caramel apple

Originally looked into Tri O Plex bars after one of their bars won a "best protein bar" review featuring over 40 bars...the review said that these bars were packed with protein, tasted good, and didn't carry all the fat and sugar other bars did.I was blown away how good these tasted. Basically they taste like dried peanut butter molded into a bar...they even have real peanuts in them. I have tasted a bunch of fake sugary and powdery bars in the past but these taste like real food. I believe Chef Jay owns a small place in Vegas and these are made there...I have one a day and always look fwd to it....they taste that good!

I really like these protein bars. They taste good and I have used them for after work-out food as well as a meal supplement if I'm too busy for a real meal.

I've been eating Zone Bars for nearly ten years (can it really be that long?-okay I'm guessing) but switched to these because they have twice the protein and half the sugar. They are a little lower on the vitamins, especially the B's, but you can always up your intake of vitamin pills. And they taste so good with coffee in the morning! I keep mine in the fridge and warm them in the microwave. Oh, delicious. This is a good price and, of course, delivered to your door-brilliant! I'm sure the other flavours are also good, but I'm stuck on the Peanut Butter.

These nutritional bars are quick and easy and by easy I mean they are easy on the Tummy! Chef Jay doesn't awesome job with his products and ingredients. I have been using his products for 10 yrs. I've used them when I was a competitive bodybuilder & marathon runner. Now I'm just a weekend warrior and I still use his products.

Horrible they were stale and the peanut butter center was missing in all bars and both boxes
