RazoRock "Don Donato" Artisan Made Shaving Soap

I'm a head shaver and have used other RazoRock products. I love to use the peppermint shave lube for those times when the "oil pass" is desired. This soap is really slick and lathers up nicely. I wish the scent would linger a little longer but it's a winner, in my rotation.I like to use my Muhle extra large brush with V2 fibre with Don Donato as it has more backbone and whips it up faster than my badger hair brushes but both work fine as this soap is semi soft.

Love the smell of this stuff in the morning. Keep the water lite so you make a thick lather.I find foaming the brush in the bowl first then using my skuttle to make it hot and let it sit, the lather goes on hot.BTY, if you make it too thin, just a dab of Cremo Cream in with it makes it thick fast.Also, for the price, yes better than expected!

I have enjoyed RazoRock shaving soap for a few years and find this to be another winner in their selection of soaps. You can't beat their soaps for the price and the quality is excellent. I like the size of the jar as there is enough room to work up your lather without making a mess.

i use this for DE shaving even though it was intended for straight razor. the most protective i have used other than mitchells wool fat. this is easier to lather than mitchells though.

I love the soap! I have heard good things about Razorock soaps and this is the first Razorock soap that I have purchased. It doesn't disappoint! It's very slick, it lathers very easily and has a great scent. It's worth the purchase!

good...slick...but it's very close in performance to p.160 which is much cheaper, so I'll need more time to compare them.

The shave soap according to the description was supposed to have a very nice scent. As it turns out it has no scent. But it does what it's supposed to do and gives a close shave.

Solid. Smells like the others though
