This is exactly what we needed. Our old case had split in half but everything else still worked. So glad we could just buy a replacement case and save some money and hassle of having to get a new key cut!! Very happy.

This is a great alternative to buying a OEM remote key cover. It fits well and it seems very strong. Functions like it should.

My old key case cracked and broke and I was walking around with my trashy taped up key. Ordered this shell as I needed a replacement. The installation took 5-10 minutes and mostly took that long because I had to watch some tutorials. I did have trouble figuring out how to reassemble the fob back together. The key portion does need to be SLID into the non button side (sliding from the top down) then the 2 halves can be snapped back in place. My 2008 Honda CRV key fit perfectly. Some reviewers mentioned that the key holes don't entirely line up and they had to drill or enlarge the whole for it to line up. I did not have to do that at least with my fob. However, I initially attempted to re-use the OEM screw that came in my old fob but it was slightly thicker than the one provided and could not be used. I did end up using the screw that came in the kit and it did fit, however once I applied more pressure to tighten the screw (which you do need to put some downward pressure) the screw began to strip. I had to stop. The screw did go in well enough that it was sturdy and secure but it sticks out just a hair and isn't as flush as the original. I could purchase a silicone cover to 1. protect the key fob and 2. bring that smoothness back so it's not a deal breaker All in all, it's not a 100% perfect fit but it is a great fit for a Honda CRV and for $5.50 it is absolutely worth it. Going to a dealer or anywhere else would have been way more costly and honestly not needed. The only con I had was the screw quality, therefore 4 stars.

It fits perfectly like the original without the local . I should have replaced my shell and battery long ago .

Worked great to fix my Wife's demolished fob, which by the way, I paid over $40 for at the battery store. So far so good, it's been about 2 months and no problems. It was easy to put together.

I really needed this key fob because mine kept breaking off the key. I’ve tried several and after six months or so they break they’re not very expensive but what’s bad is when it breaks while you’re driving and the keys left in the key slot in the car I wish they could make a more sturdy one without having to go to the dealer.

Pretty good quality, would purchase again. Super easy to install everything. 10/10
