An easy and simple way to collect problematic flies
I have a few dogs at my home, I feel that I am studious and careful when it comes to me scooping my dogs bowel movements. Sadly I have noticed my many neighbors are not, and as such, I find that we all have a very serious vector issue - flies. Originally I used a fly swatter, and although I became quite proficient with hitting the little boogers, I felt that as I was simply spitting in the wind and not capturing what I needed. Ultimately I graduated to the bug-a-salt, a fun device that uses salt to eliminate the problem, but once again, the safety and efficacy of the device left me wanting for more. Finally I purchased the disposable version of this unit, and although I noticed a quick and substantive decrease in flies, I felt that throwing the containers away was a waste. I have been buying these containers for the past 4 years, and have found that they last about two years before they become to fragile and begin leaking the fly attractant and smelling up the place. THe ability to fill these and simply set them out by far has the easiest use of all the devices used, they capture the majority of adult and most junior flies, and contain them with no issues, I typically empty them out every month, wash them clean and refill with attractant and water. THis only leaves me the issue of refilling water during the hotter months. As far as the device is concerned, the attractant has a very pungent odor, one that mimics the smell of an out house, the attractant itself is not sticky, but does stain the skin with odor if allowed to spill on you. I personally use gloves, and this prevents me from taking the odor with me. I strongly recommend this device and would encourage anyone experiencing flies to try this, the only caveat (besides what I listed on handling), would be not to use indoors or near spaces that you frequent/sit at, as the attractant is very foul smelling and the flies tend to stay near the device until they are caught.

Highly Effective Outdoor Fly Trap with Minimal Effort
I’ve been using the RESCUE! Disposable Fly Trap for a few weeks now, and it has significantly reduced the number of flies around my backyard. The setup is straightforward: just add water to the bag to activate the bait, hang it at least 20 feet away from living areas, and let it do its job. The trap uses a potent attractant that lures flies into the bag, where they drown in the water. It’s designed to catch common nuisance or filth flies, including house flies, false stable flies, blow flies, blue and green bottle flies, flesh flies, face flies, and many others. Once the bag is full, you simply dispose of it—no mess or hassle. One thing to note is that the trap emits a strong odor once activated, so it’s best used outdoors and away from areas where people gather. Pros: • Easy to set up and use • Highly effective in attracting and trapping flies • Disposable design eliminates the need for cleaning • Affordable price point Cons: • Strong odor when activated; must be placed away from living spaces

Gets the job done worth the price.
These work the best for catching flies, gnats and hornets. Easy to use just open and add water. Doesn’t come with a string to hang but there is a place to tie onto the top. Smell is pretty bad I wouldn’t hang close to a place you plan to sit and relax or where you frequently walk.

Gotta love the smell lol
Don't let the great smell fool you. Its going to wake up your senses but it also will attract those flies and keep them all going for an eternal swim. I placed these near the corners of the yard and this summer was nice and we didn't have any flies hanging around. I hung one under the orange tree we have since last year the county said there may be fruit flys in the area. It did a great job keeping flies away and allowing pollinators to do their job. The container is a good sturdy plastic that can handle the 100 degree heat and some wild summer winds. I usually fill them back up after a week of evaporation.

Amazing lifespan, easy to assemble - flies stink fyi
These work FANTASTICALLY! Easy to assemble, quick to start working, perfect for using outside, I would not use them inside for more than maybe a couple hours: they begin to stink after not too long due to the amount of flies they catch. Their lifespan is amazing, mine have been outside for almost three weeks and they’re still catching flies! Just to be clear: they stink after not very long, you won’t want to hang out around them a couple hours after you have assembled them.

Crazy Effective!
I am amazed at how the flies are attracted to this trap. It was super easy setup--add pouch (attractant), water, and hang. These are even reusable, you can empty, wash out and buy replacement food. The only issue with the reusable piece is even if the water dries up, this thing smells horrible. I closed the top and left it sit for two weeks (because there were live flies and maggots). Everything was dead, but opening it and dumping it was hard because of the smell. Nearly lost my lunch before I adjusted to avoid smelling it. So reusable... yes, but it was a challenge to cleanout because of the smell. It is a trade off... this works so well, I will continue even with the smell. That smell will also impact wher eyou hang it... I have it far away, but with the right wind I can get a sniff.

Funciona e não tem o cheiro insuportável (podre) como de algumas outras marcas. Indicado para colocar uns 10 metros de distância na área externa.

I live on an acreage in cattle country. There are more flies here than blades of grass. These traps work so well that they fill up in a few weeks with thousands of flies. Flies love them so much that they are now calling and making reservations! Just hang them far away from where you hang out in your yard. There's a good reason (smell) why flies are drawn to them!!
