Works great, priced right!
GREAT product! For me, it provides a natural swimming experience even though you are tethered. Our backyard pool is now an endless lap pool!!I was debating between this product and the waist-attached tethering system. Many reviewers said the waist-attached system allows your feet to sink, so I purchased the Aqua Sphere system. It was a good choice. It keeps my body prone in the water, no problem! I've used it in freestyle, breaststroke, and backstroke. Some reviewers mentioned problems breathing in freestyle in a tethered swim. Since one really doesn't move forward, there is no pocket from which to breathe on the side. While I did experience this somewhat, I simply exaggerated my rotation to resolve this issue. While not great form, I have used this technique to breathe in rough, open water swims in triathlons to keep from sucking in lake/ocean water. Others mentioned using a snorkel, which I have not tried but would probably work. Some reviewers mentioned the cord and/or harnessing mechanism breaking. Mine has held together just fine but, like anything else, I would not anticipate it lasting forever given normal usage. For me, the price makes this a non-issue. If I had to buy one each year, paying $15 for a season's worth of lap swimming in my backyard is a "no-brainer" for me.

Works great
I thought it would be a little bit weird to swim using this, but after I get started each time I don't think twice about it. We have a pool in our back yard but it isn't long enough to swim laps in, but this allows me to train for triathlons without having to pay to go to a gym or drive anywhere. We have little bolts on the side of the pool that the cover hooks on in the winter, I just leave one of them up and then hook the cord on it. The cord does rub on the sharp edge of the bricks on the side of the pool, so I put my towel under the cord there. It isn't really causing an issue with the cord yet, just the out side of it is becoming slightly frayed, but I figure I might as well get it to last as long as possible. One thing to note is that I wouldn't really want to use it where I couldn't stand up, I am sure it could be done if needed, but it would be more challenging to get it on and off, and I think I might be slightly nervous being hooked to something where I couldn't stand.

Great Product! You'll want to tweak it to work for you.
These take some tweaking to have a good swim, but are definitely worth the cost! These are much less frustrating than similar belt-style products. They naturally make me kick more and I swim more efficiently (higher DPS) and with more power when I go back to a lap pool.My first complaint was that the cord pulls my feet down, which pulls my hips out of position and makes it harder to take a breath. This happened because the bungie loop was working its way down the pool railing. I solved this by attaching the bungie to a small carabiner above the surface of the water. I just anchor the carabiner to some pool side structure (like a lifeguard stand or poolside table) with a short rope. The second issue is that the velcro sometimes comes undone when it's wet. So far, this has been solved by using two binder clips per foot to keep the end of each strap in contact with its base. You will probably need 2-4 workouts for adjustments before you're comfortable and happy with the system.

This works with minimal disruption to stroke!
I like that it is comfortable, I am able to swim with it on. I use it for 20 minutes at a time in the pool. It does not stretch, if you want something that does, you can add a bungee and hook it off of that. I don't want stretch as then I can be pulled back and get water up my nose etc. I like this product. If swimming in a small pool is your only option, this works! I use a snorkel with mine as I don't like to get too much salt water in (makes me sick) while swimming. Happy with this purchase as most pools are close for covid. My backyard pool works for this.

Wish I Had Known About The Stationary Swimmer Years Ago!
Using the Aqua Sphere Stationary Swimmer is not like getting in a swimming pool and swimming laps, but it serves its purpose if you do not have access to a pool large enough to swim laps. I found the device easy to attach, and I was able to stay in the pool swimming the freestyle stroke for a constant thirty minutes which was my ultimate goal. As others have mentioned, due to the difference in stationary swimming vs. forward motion swimming you do tend to "sink" a bit lower in the water, but with a bit of practice I was able to adapt adequately. I am by no means an excellent swimmer, and I do not swim in any competitive events so personally I had no worries about my adaptations messing up my swimming stroke. I love to swim for exercise in the summer so I was very happy when I learned about the Aqua Sphere Stationary Swimmer. It has allowed me to be able to swim every day in an above ground pool. The cost of this device was less than the cost of a summer pass to the local pool and the convenience of being able to swim at any time during the day or night made the investment well worth it.

Acceptable for what it is designed to do
I agree whole heartedly with the other swimmer's review regarding the significant technique adjustments necessary to make this device work. In spite of these limitations, I love being able to swim at home and avoid the crowds and limited hours at the gym. My main complaint with this product is that it is not at all durable. The cord and connectors fray within my first 2 swims every time I buy a new one. The Velcro straps wear out within one to two months with consistent use. (I am on my 4th stationary swimmer in 9 months time). I am very gentle with this device and do not over chlorinate my pool, but have had terrible skin breakdown while using the belt style swimmer. So in spite of these limitations, I still continue buying these. 😕

Me sirvió perfecto, se pueden hacer los 4 estilos de nado sin problemas! El ajuste en los pies y el material muy bien no molesta ni deja marcas bastante cómodo

Turn your pool into a "swim spa"
This is the first review I've ever written. I felt compelled to do so because this product is simply fantastic. I have a small, inground pool (this would work for above ground too) that I regularly do laps in. Laps in a small pool is boring. I hooked this contraction up by digging in a metal stake found at the dollar store (in the pet section, like a big screw), hooked the bungie cord through it and away I went. Each anklet wraps around your foot and ankle via velcro and will fit any width of food. You can perform any stroke you like. Toss in a pair of water proof headphones with your fav tunes and away you go! Truly, a gift to backyard swimming pools and those who want to turn their pool into a "swim spa".

Great for the price
Great for the price, if you intend to use it for freestyle mostly. Not so good for breaststroke. As stated in another review, breathing is not as easy with the string pulling you back, you get more water in your nose and mouth. I ended up getting a nose clip and a cheap snorkel. I am very happy with the product after a couple of uses.

Funciona
Aunque supongo que seria más cómodo si se enganchará a la cintura este nadador cumple su función a la perfección. Además si tenemos en cuenta su precio vale totalmente la pena.
