Q: Has anyone used this successfully for sun painting?

I haven't tried sun painting, primarily because where we live there's a very great chance the item would end up with little squirrel footprints all over it. I have, however, watched several YouTube videos of others trying sun painting with them, and those videos seemed to show good results. The brighter and more direct the sun, the better. You might want to do a YouTube search to check out the videos.

This set of colors are rather small bottles. IF your project is 26 inches, you will have enough. IF your project is 26 feet, you will need several (many) of these sets. I have only used them on small projects, so I really can not tell you how much you will need. I think they are also available in larger bottles.

Q: I'm having a party where we're painting tote bags. Anyone know how much paint I should buy for 20 tote bags?

These paints are diluted with water. A few drops in a container and a few tablespoons of water will paint an area of about 9 x 12 inches. Not sure how big your totes are but the assortment pack of colors will be more than adequate. Use these same paints for solar painting. Great paint for scarves and clothes (you can buy ready made items from Dharma Trading Co).
