In my rented home I have an expensive soft close toilet seat which was fine for almost 2 years then it started shifting no matter what I did. Took it off completely, cleaned every part thoroughly, reinstalled, was perfect... for a week, then started moving sideways again. Contacted the supplier who suggested buying a new one. At almost £100, em nooo. So I asked an AI tool what I could do and it suggested this product, which I had never heard of in my 66 years. Now installed, a wee bit fiddly but entirely doable, it has turned a nervous wait for a slide sideways into a laugh of "you can't get me now!" So simple but seems to be really effective as it takes up the wobble room on the hole in the toilet where the bolt goes through. Dont waste money on a new seat if this product can work for me, it can probably keep you sitting where the action happens !!

Would have been five stars as they work very well. Great to be able to fix the seat without grovelling underneath. Very easy to fit. Only four stars as there were only three fixings in the pack instead of four. Only needed two for this job but a single remaining fitting is not of any use as all seats will require two.

My wooden toilet seat all of a sudden started to slide left to right and i noticed the seat was loose. As it's a top hinge i decided to buy these top fixings and they did the job perfectly. Easy to apply and now no sliding toilet seat. Happy days. Would definitely recommend this product.

Well they can't fix a loose seat on their own, need to dismantle the hinge assembly fully in order to fit them, so may as well fit a complete new hinge if it's so bad. Also found that they are too soft to provide the positive feel required, need to be more firm to provide the expected security.
