Q: How much space is recommended between stacked shelves? How about mounting on a plaster wall, anything special required?

It comes with wall anchors for drywall. To mount on plaster walls, you need special (and inexpensive) plaster mount hardware. Your local hardware store will have what you need. For the spacing, it depends on the type of shoes. My sneakers are almost horizontal. One to two inches is sufficient. Boots will need more space probably 3-4 inches, depending on the style.

Q: Does this work on the plaster wall? Do i just need a special anchor for plaster wall? I was told my condo doesn't have any stud, it's all brick wall

It is attached to the wall with 2 screws (for the shorter one, at least). There are special wall anchors for plaster and for brick that you can use (not included). Any hardware store will carry these. If it's a good hardware store, you can just ask a salesperson and they'll tell you exactly what you need.
