Q: What are the dimensions of this item?

Our dimensions on this item are 10 1/2" x 7 1/4" x 1 1/2". It does tend to flatten a bit when it's empty, so you'll find it thicker when it's filled with pencils.

Q: Will this hold Tombow dual brush markers?

I don't have any Tombow markers. It will hold Prismacolor dual brush markers and even Sharpie's brush markers.--is Tombow close to either one? You have a lot of options since the elastic used is larger than those designed for single pencils. It's a question of wanted use. Do you want to use them at home/work without travelling? Then you can put more in, definitely 2 Prismacolors, not so much the big Sharpies. But then, they are harder to get in and out. I sometimes take out a whole section when working. If you do want to use this as a travelling case, your problem might be shutting the case as the markers make a much higher level than pencils. But you if you use some larger and some smaller markers, you could probably switch levels with them. Hope this helps!

Q: will it hold 120 Faber Castell Polychromos pencils?

Most unlikely. The band's are really suffient for about 80 rather than 120

Q: Will it hold brush pens with caps on them and can the case be zipped closed with the capped pens?

On this case, it has wide loops that can hold up to 3 pencils. Pens would be ok too probably 2 at a time. And I don't see why It wouldn't zip closed as long as you didn't completely overfill it.
