SeaTeak60748 Teak Flag Pole, 3/4 inch Base Diameter, 18 inch Length

Well made and fits holder perfectly. I sprayed three coats of Marine Spar before installing flag clips and it's beautiful.

Well made - two pieces of real teak glued together length wise, I added a few coats of teak oil and it darkened up to match the old teak of my boat. After a few more oil treatments it will be covered with UV protected clear epoxy and then the hardware (supplied by me) will be attached and a flag added. This was a very good investment - the old owner of my boat kept the original flag mast, I could have demanded it maybe but this mast is vastly superior to the one he kept. Some people are complaining that the hardware sold for these flag masts is too expensive, I will add two small brass screw eyes and tie my flag on with nylon pull ties - total cost less than $2. If your fine old boat (or front porch) needs a nice flag pole you will have a hard time finding a better one than this at any price.

Nice and fresh teak in color. Not nearly as dark as the pictures, should take a stain well.

Looks like one solid piece of teak used for the entire pole, including the round tip. It is unfinished, natural colored teak. I will be staining it dark brown and applying a few coats of poly. It would probably turn grey once exposed to the sun and elements if I didn't varnish it. Looks to be very good quality. The description said the pole bottom diameter is 1.25", and it is actually 1.0" - hence I gave it a 4 instead of 5 star rating. The pole holder I have was made for a 1.25" flagpole base, so I had to jury-rig the holder with a piece of brass pipe to decrease the diameter to fit the pole snugly. First-world problems, I guess....

This is a trully amazing flag pole. Very sturdy, well finished and has a real nice look, not like the cheesy aluminum flag poles. It is one piece - I’ve seen reviews on other similar poles that were saying that their poles are made of pieces glued together.. not this one.

Pictured in the listing is a traditional dark tight grained teak. What arrived was a loose grained light colored birch-type wood. Almost looks to me like a eucalyptus wood.. Not eligible for a return, so I requested a refund, we’ll see.

Great flag pole. High quality. Rubbed it down with some mineral oil and it looks even better. Should last a very long time.

Teak. What can I say? Using it on our power vessel.
