Good brand in general regardless of paint color
I really liked this color which I had not seen at the place I usually buy my paint. Mixes well. I like Winsor & Newton paint in general because it is less runny and watery than some competing brands.

I love these oil paints! Buttery and thick. Can be thinned with turpenoid as one would expect. Such a joy to work with!

Medium to good quality paint
I bought this tube because I couldn't find Ultramarine in the brand I like. It turned out to be a good choice. Great creaminess and stretch. Slightly darker than Ultramarine.

Love Winsor & Newton
You can't go wrong with Winsor & Newton Artists Oil Colors. I sometimes try colors from other brands, but most of my colors are Winsor & Newton. I like them because they have a high pigment load and are easy to find online and in stores. Be sure to shop around for the best price. They're almost always on sale.
