The Top Pull Up Device You Can Buy
I hate it when reviewers gush and blindly say 'best product ever!' and 'I just love this' etc with no real way for the reader to get context about the user/reviewer or the product in depth. Well, this review from me might commit that sin as well but I will note these are the most beneficial pull up device you can get today. This is ALL about leverage in training your pull. You get a pair of these (they come with sliver eye hooks not black as shown) and used as a pair or used singularly these let you work the pulling power of your upper body like nothing else. Since these are suspended, you can get rotational forces in play for your range of motion and the need to use each arm independently (the nature of the pull exercise done from rings or these) and to stabilize is really felt. However even some rotating pull up handles or gym rings deliver that benefit...The real power is about LEVERAGE. You can grip these with two hands on one single bomb in numerous ways. Even better is to use each hand on each bomb. Grip from the center, fingers splitting the eye hook, or grip from the end closest to your body or the end away from body and it changes the effort in endless ways. Start with a neutral grip or start with knuckles away or towards you and again, more variety. Twist these around as you pull or fight to keep the alignment and you feel you lats and back come alive. Your grip is always worked hard when you use these and your power does increase in just weeks. It sounds simple to list that you can change the grips and mix and match pull types and angles. When you use these, one or two handed, pulling up/down or swinging and keep using these the results are like no other pull up workout you had run into. Gym rings are awesome but this is a full next level. You can simulate a peg board (peg hold/ice pick grip) grip yet it is unstable and also twists away from you. Have one hand in front and the other in back, again just grip changes, and the effects are refreshed again. You can even get a near vertical orientation if you flex your wrists while holding these from one end. Pulling that way is a fun and new challenge, all from one pair of basic seeming bombs. This is simple yet endless useful and the pull up effects delivered to change your body and condition how you can pull and move and mighty! The 2'' size is perfect. I am a grown man (6'5'' with large hands) and it not only is great for me but teenagers can use it and even women have used this and the size is not too small nor too challenging for all manner of hand sizes and body types. For now, this is the only size I am using but the company makes other larger ones so that is nice to be aware of.I have to stress this seems simple or even stupid or gimmicky. No. This is simple but the results are incredible if you train with pulling actions. Of course, put on a weight vest or hand some plates from a dip belt and really rock your training.A bonus, just a lone handle can be attached to a loading pin and used for squatting a weight stack that is between you legs/center line. It is not the same as back squatting (close to belt squatting but your arms are involved for a full body) and you can't get as heavy and is sort of a mix of deadlifts and squats but this device can train legs! It does train legs! It is great for higher rep squatting with lower weights (I go from 180lbs up to 315lbs for these types of squats) as a warm up and the size of these bombs is perfect. The handle can be gripped with two hands, it's strong enough to handle the weight and it is short enough to not hit your body.If you do any pull up or machine or band pull down... You need to own these. The build quality is that it will last a lifetime and you can will it to your kids. These are a bargain at under $65 for a pair, shipped. Of course you can attach these to bands and cable machines at your gym too. The uses are so many that I have to stress, this is LEVERAGE training for pulling and these elegant devices, so minimal in their build and design, are the ones to get.Do you do pulls up or want to do pull ups? BUY THESE! After playing with these for a month or two, the straight pull up bar seems like child's play due to the progress you will have made training your grip and movement patterns for pulling your body. Add these to your cart and check out. You are in for a unique treat when they arrive and you get to use them in your weekly training. I can't praise these enough but results I have gotten from using these are testament enough in my view.

A Very Durable and Effective Atomik Climbing Hold.
The media could not be loaded. The Atomik Climbing Holds has very effective design and very durable quality. It is very comfy to hold on while I am performing chin ups and climbing grip holds. I am very glad with the purchase. Thank you very much.

Great grips for a mechanically simpler workout
I use these mostly for pull-ups. Traditional bar chin-ups (palms facing me) force me into significant hypersupination and pull-ups (palms away) force me into just a little hyperpronation. Those hurt my wrists and can hurt my shoulders—I’m trying to exercise not cause early arthritic changes. These allow you to rotate your forearms throughout the motion and keep a relatively neutral orientation. Plus, the larger diameter (vs pull-up bar) makes it a better grip workout.

Could not be happier with it
The hangboards I have to compare this to are the ones at my climbing gym. Those all have a series of parallel holds. This one feels way more ergonomic and I'm much less worried about hurting myself. The texture is also a little smooth (won't tear up the hands), but grips well enough and I haven't had any problems slipping off. I bought it direct from the manufacturer. I reached out before placing the order to see if they had any other colors. They let me pick one from their website and made that color for me.

Solid and worth the price.
Just tried these bad boys out for the first time. I am glad I made the purchase. I have multiple hanging equipment, but this is my new favorite. They are solid and are well made. The grip is awesome, now I don't have to use grip chalk all the time. A bit pricier than my other similar equipment, but well worth it. Definitely recommend if you want to step up your pull up game.
