Boston Warehouse Kitten Decorative Mitt, One Size

My wife was given a matching set of these oven mitts many years ago and they were of sentimental value to her cause they reminded her of one of her favorite cats. However, they eventually wore out. She was really pleased to find these and once again is happily using them every day.

Really cute! Being a crazy cat lady, I was immediately drawn to this. Color and sharpness of colors exactly as pictured. The thickness is sufficient to prevent burns, and it goes up far enough past my wrist to keep me from getting burned on oven racks when I have to reach far back into the oven. I have been using one of these for several years now, and this new purchase was for a friend who also loves cats. She was thrilled to have one of these, too.

I have read a lot of reviews indicating that this is a great display piece but cannot be used for actual cooking because it's too thin. I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and she has used it take cookie sheets and pans out of the oven numerous times without incident. It is a thick, durable mitt and can certainly be used for cooking. The novelty of having the mitt in your favorite animal adds to the fun but this is in no way a "show piece" only.

This was very cute but the quality is ok and I didn't read the description so I missed it was 1 glove for the price it's not worth it. It's cute but it should be a set. I ended buying a towel to match it since it was a gift.

I brought the cat oven mitt as a novelty gift for my daughter and for myself, as both of us have cats.It is cute in appearance and I use mine for decorative purposes only. I wouldn't want to use it for the stove or oven and risk it getting soiled or ruined. Honestly, I also don't feel that it is the most effective oven mitt for preventing burns.If you plan to use it for decorative purposes only, then it is worth purchasing.

Love this little guy. My next door neighbor has a cat that looks just like this and I gave the mitt to him. He loves it and uses it all the time. I included it in a gift basket with many items for his new bar bee que grill. Well, for us New England folks, it is cook-out season. Well, rain or snow, I still cook out on my grille as many others do too.

Was a gift will have to get one for myself.

Bought this to replace our old glove that had worn out. First try using it wife said she could feel the heat strongly through the glove, enough to burn unless she set the pan down immediately. Checked it myself and sure enough, doesn't do what it's supposed to. Cool idea that it's a kitten but can't accomplish it's main function.
