Shower Chair

This chair fills the bill for my showering. I have a bad back and arthritis of the hip which restrict my mobility. My shower is a walk-in which is large but has no grab bars in it. This Medokare chair is plenty sturdy for my 200 lb frame. It was easy to put together. My only complaint is that it was missing one washer, but no problem really. When I put it in the shower it performed just as it should. It is plenty wide so as to be comfortable for access and the arm bars are perfect for assisting me to stand from the sitting position. The height is adjustable for my 6'2" height. I researched many shower chairs and this one has all the features I need. Great product Medokare !

I bought this shower chair bc I have POTs and whenever I would take a shower, my HR would go up to 150 and I would feel like passing out so I started to avoid taking showers bc it was so uncomfortable and unsafe. This chair has made a huge difference to help keep me safe while showering. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy while in the shower. The feet have rubber on them so the chair remains stable and doesn't move when you go to stand up and sit on it. You can easily lift it bc it's lightweight. The legs are adjustable if you're short (I'm 5'2") but can be adjusted if you're taller.

Solid but lightweight. Excellent as a temporary chair. For something permanent a shower remodel with a seat would be the preferred way to go. Doubles as a chair to sit in to tie shoes after medical necessity ceases.

We're getting a bit older and having a sturdy chair to use in the shower is a good idea. The chair has good traction with the floor of the shower. It has arms which are helpful in getting up. The only thing I wish it had to make it better would be a curved seat. There seems to be such a design available, but I did not see it, and I wish I had. But altogether, I'm pleased with the shower chair. (I was disappointed that it took about three weeks to get the chair. Maybe that's because we live in Anchorage, Alaska. But other Amazon items arrive in two or three days...no more than a week.)

This shower chair is well built and fits nicely in my shower! I have mobility issues with my legs and this chair enables me to safely take a shower and not worry about falling.

This chair doesn't fit our bathtub. I highly recommend measuring the interior dimensions of the bottom of your tub first (something I didn't do). That said, it works as an excellent dressing chair so we are using it for that purpose instead. It is very sturdy and can be made tall enough for ease of sitting and rising.

Perfect for my 96 year old mother who no longer felt safe standing in the shower. Sturdy construction. A little tricky to put together because the instructions aren't very clear but otherwise great. Extra little hanging bag nice also

Brilliant shower chair that can be used in or out. Great functionality of adjustable height. Feels really solid when using with good feet grippers. Comfy too with the padding. A little tricky to build, just needs a bit of force and manoeuvring. Overall, brilliant, so much we bought 2 for different relatives!

Feet come off the legs. Exposes a sharp end on the leg. Possibly able to puncture your flooring

it took quie some time to assemble but it was a worthy buy. My 80 year oldUncle with residual polio feels more secure and happy !
