Very glad I found this company. They make very good stuff. It may see a bit pricy up front but so worth acquiring at a slower pace and getting the quality instead of quantity.100% made here in the US. They test all their products very diligently and if they ever have a failure(super rare) they usually try to get you to send the item back to them as they retain a chain of custody on all their products so that they can figure out exactly what went wrong what batch of product you item came out of and fix it. Check them out on youtube they really go above and beyond. Definitely recommend their products.

I recently purchased two of these, a 2” and a 2 1/2” . These receivers are super lightweight and actually come with a working load and breaking load that is amazingly strong. The 2 1/2” is for my Ram 3500 and the 2” is for other vehicles that are in need of some help. Great for using soft shackles or steel shackles. I prefer taking the metal out of recovery jobs as much as possible to avoid the extreme danger of metal flying through the air when something breaks. I would definitely recommend this product! Solid chunk of metal that did what it was supposed to do and looks good doing it. Used it as part of my recovery gear on my 2015 Silverado (4WD) to free my semi-buried and heavy 1990 F-250 (2WD) from a super-slick clay field.

Perfect for rear recovery point. I wish it was drilled so that the hitch pin could be either horizontal or vertical so that the recovery shackle could be horizontal for high/low pulls and vertical for off-center pulls. Can only be placed so the shackle pin lays horizontal.

With few exceptions, Factor 55 gear is top shelf and USA made. I proudly own their kinetic rope, soft and hard shackles, and this recovery hardware. This Hitchlink 2.0 Receiver Shackle Mount is lightweight, compact, and aesthetically pleasing. Summary: Recommended for those that appreciate American Made Quality. Note: I gave 4 Stars because there is not a horizontal mount option and the price is testing the cost / benefit limit, in my opinion.

No le doy cinco estrellas porque solo se puede instalar en una opción de los orificios. Y queda en mi camión un poco salido. Yo quería ponerlo en el otro orificio para que quedara en cuanto nomas se le pudiera poner el grillete pero no se pudo y ya no cupo el grillete, entonces tuvo que quedar salidito y con eso corre más riesgos de rasparse a la hora de bajar alguna cuesta al momento de que el vehículo sale de ella. La utilidad es de punto de recuperación para vehículos 4x4 en complemento con un grillete
