I am very impressed with the quality and appearance of this chalkboard at least with the liquid markers. They make all the colors really stand out. I got the blue and white markers that came with the board and bought another color set from TenXVI as well and they all worked great. The board is really easy to clean completely with a wet paper towel. No chalk residue at all after cleaning. I didn't use any dry chalk on it, but I suppose that would work as well. The magnets do hold the stand on but if you push on it too hard they will come off. I haven't tried it on a refrigerator so can't comment on that. I used the slots on back to hold it vertically onto a rolling cart. I got the brown colored (real) wooden frame and have had no issues with the brown color getting stained or coming off as some have mentioned with the white, but perhaps they have fixed that issue. If white is your thing, you could certainly tape off and spray the frame with a wood sealant from the hardware store. It also comes with a blue and white circular magnet.

There's a reason why there's no negative reviews. This board is gorgeous. I wasn't expecting much for a $20+ chalkboard. The magnetic legs are awesome. Easily removed for writing and cleaning, easily put back on for use. This is my first chalkboard and chalk markers. The wood is sturdy and magnets strong. I put it on the door overnight. I expected it to slowly slide down. In the morning the board was still in it's orginal spot. The chalkboard itself is also magnetic. I expected that it was going to be weak. Again I was pleasantly surprised, the magnetic was strong. There are no cleaning instructions. (This would be the only negative comment that I could make.) I used Arteza chalk markers. There were good reviews on them.... and I would have to agree. I Googled BEFORE purchasing to see how to clean liquid chalk off and read people used diaper type wipes. I tested the board and markers as soon as they came. Short phases and Quickly following up with the wipes (i was afraid to let the markers dry as I had checked a lot of reviews on Amazon on other boards and markers and read about some nightmares) I got comfortable and wrote all over the board, waited a few minutes to dry and used the wipes to remove the color. It was more than one wipe could handle so after removing most I followed with a wet cloth. This time grabbing one that had been used previously with bronner's soap. All of a sudden a green hue showed up on the board. I freaked and looked for cleaning instructions, saw none then finally reached out to the seller. After a few emails back and forth she suggested I try magic eraser. This is when I realized that the seller really believed the board would/could stand up to some abuse. Every one else out there probably likes magic eraser...I don't. I think they are tough on items. I had already made up my mind that I wanted a second board. Even with the green hue I felt the board still functioned like it was supposed to. The seller was sweet and stayed in contact...it sometimes took many hours, maybe they are in a different time zone or was just busy but they will answer emails so be patient if you need to reach out to them too. IF I buy magic eraser I will have to update this review as to whether it worked or not to remove that weird green hue. At this point I feel it will do more damage than already. I kinda live by "don't fix it if it ain't broken" so unless it gets worse I probably won't touch it. Just the same I already have a second board sitting in my Amazon cart. I would recommend this to anyone.

I use these as picture frames. We have 5 boys and I hate having to change out their school pictures in regular frames and these are very easy to swap out pictures using the clips I bought for them (they are not included in this purchase.) I have already written on some of them and they clean off VERY easily with a dry paper towel. This is a fun and easy way to hang pictures and it stands out and looks great. These frames are very durable and extremely easy to assemble. The metal brackets that support it are actually magnetic (and strong) and it gives you the option to stand it up horizontally or vertically. There is no need to screw anything in, which is nice. The less I have to mess with, the better. I am beyond pleased with my purchase and if I need anymore of these for around the house, I will be buying these again.

Great ‘chalkboard’ Love that you can put it on a stand or on your refrigerator!

I purchased the 11x13” frame in White with the chalk markers. The board was slightly scratched upon receipt per the picture (left side towards the bottom of the frame). It’s good to note that the front of the wood frame is NOT magnetic; the only magnetic portion of the front of the sign is the black chalkboard area. The legs attach to the back of the frame via magnets which is very cool! The width of the board with the legs attached is about 6 inches. I’ve never used chalk markers before so I don’t have anything to compare them to. It took a bit of pressure and patience to get the liquid to come out initially. Once I got them going, the markers seemed to write fine on the board. They did not have an odor like traditional chalk does. I used the blue color and then wiped it off a few minutes later. It wiped clean as expected. The “Welcome” and “Spring” signs in my picture were metal words from the Dollar Tree. I used the blue and white chalk markers to color these words and that worked great! Overall, I’m happy with the look of the frame and I think it’s a great addition to my home décor.

This chalkboard sign is the perfect size for my mini doughnut business, which is just getting started and has a small, focused menu. I use it on a tabletop and is adds a charming, handcrafted touch to my setup that customers really notice. I appreciated that it came with a chalk marker to get started right away. The base was a little tricky to figure out at first, but once I got it assembled, it stayed secure and steady. It is a great sign for small menus or announcements - just keep in mind, as your business grows, you may eventually want to size up. For now, though, it is exactly what I needed and has been a great value.

This is better than expected. I can put it on a frigde but it’s a bit big. You can use it 2 different ways, horizontally, or vertically. It comes with two chalk pens. I’m really happy with it. So easy to set up as well. Perfect for my craft show

Beautiful and well made. My only issue is that the magnets aren’t very strong. I use mine for outdoor markets and any slight gust of wind or bump in the table and the legs shift off of the magnets and it all comes tumbling down. If I was using it in the same orientation every time I would just glue it.
